WooHoo!!!! ;D ;D ;D H50 was actually adjusted up in the final numbers, which means the climb continues. And Revolution was actually adjusted down, so we beat them in overall viewers. WooHoo!!!! ;D ;D ;D ; NBC Revolution 3.3 (18-49 Demo) 8.61(Million Viewers) CBS Hawaii Five-0 2.1(18-49 Demo) 8.70 (Million Viewers) ABC Castle 2.0(18-49 Demo) 10.94(Million Viewers) Woohoo, that is good news indeed ;D ;D Here's hoping the trend continues and we'll all feel better Fiona

Hallelujah! H50 beat Castle and Revolution in the overall viewers by more than 2 million. I know we didn't do as well in the demo. area, but I'm just going to stay positive that those numbers are going to be up soon, also. I'm not sure if I remembered this correctly, but I believe Darksea said that a show isn't in trouble until they've been below 9 million for 3 weeks in a row. So, I think H50 is doing fine. I suppose it's possible that the 9 million number might go down if all the networks number of viewers are decreasing. I would think that CBS has to change their standard for putting a show on the bubble. I have never had a real firm grasp of how ratings work so please tell me if I'm way off base here because I don't want to be misleading. However, I can read numbers so I'm very encouraged and very happy. I want to keep seeing my H50hana for a long time.

Uh, forgive me scarla, but H5O got 8.7 million viewers, meaning they are 2 million viewers below Castle for this ep, and they have been below 9 million for all 4 episodes that have aired this season. But yes, let's hope that given the overall downward trend in viewership for all networks, combined with the nice syndication deal CBS has for H5O, that we will at least still get a season 4.

OH, NO!!! I totally looked at that wrong. My eyes skipped down instead of reading across. That is hugely upsetting. I was so excited, and now I am bummed, very bummed. I can't believe this! This is so wrong. This season is really good. How do we get those fans back. Well, Biochemgeek, I suppose I should thank you for setting me straight, but I was really enjoying the high I was on.

I'm so sorry to have killed your good mood! Take heart that it has been a small but steady upward trend in the numbers so far, and I haven't read any articles anwhere suggesting it's a "bubble" show, or that it should be canned.

I wouldn't get too hung up on the <9 million viewers thing. If you look at the other two shows on at the same time, they are constantly hovering around the same number. It's not like they are blowing Five-O out of the water repeatedly

The below 9 million was last year's number. The borderline for ratings changes every year depending on the TV watching trends. There is a downturn this year, for all shows. Part of it is because during election season, people are turning to commercial free programming. Others also need to remember that in some markets, programs are being pre-empted by broadcasting of debates for state races, etc. Right now the trend line is at about 8 million on the average. There are quite a few sources out there that are saying that H50 is pretty guaranteed so far for another season, we just have to keep watching and encouraging others to watch, particularly after the election season is done and over with.

Joe, I'm choosing to believe that whole-heartedly. Thank you for being supportive and positive with that post. Sounded great!
We should all get on our twitter accounts an hour or two before the next new episode and try to get #H50 hashtah trending and talk about all the great aspects of H50 at the same time. Do you think we could attract some attention and viewers that way?
