I'm glad we have a season 4 but not so glad Michelle Borth is returning if I have read her twitter remarks correctly. I don't like what she is posting and I'm not a twitter user I am not on Twitter but I did a search for Michelle Borth twitter and read what I am assuming is her real twitter remarks. I am not sure what to make of it but it seems like there are real "Cath/Michelle" haters out there and she is responding to them. Didn't really see anything wrong in what she said but then again I am assuming I am seeing everything. Personally, I am glad she is staying on H5o. Cath is so much better than the LW character last year. I really don't understand the haters in this case |

The 'haters' are probably slash fans who want to see Steve with Danny. (yuck) As if Catherine's character being gone is going to make that happen.  |

Some of it may be slashers, but probably not all of it. I couldn't see the whole conversation, so I don't know why it became so nasty. She does write about the show various places, including a piece on why Steve and Catherine's relationship doesn't work. Maybe she was tweeting about this and she and Michelle got into an argument. It's evident from Michelle's interview in Hawaiian Pulse that she's sticking around (she's considering getting rid of her place in L.A.), and this is apparently what PL wanted all along. Funny--he sure had ME convinced he was committed to Lori Weston. Anyway, he has a chance to continue to tie up the loose ends in Season Four. |

For the record, not all slashers hate Cath, and not all the Cath-haters are slashers.
Personally, I respect Michelle's right to defend herself and her character, but I do really wish that she'd ignored the haters and not engaged with them. If you feed the trolls it just encourages them, but if you ignore them then they don't get the attention they crave and they're more likely to drop the subject.

I feel sorry for Michelle with all the hate she is getting. I respect Michelle's right to defend herself. She is not going anywhere Cath will proberly have a bigger roll in season 4 and she is great and a bit of fresh air into the programe.

Exactly--they are not a monolithic group. It was probably a waste of time for her to engage this person, but from the little research I did, she didn't seem like a troll type.
