Speaking of Grover being at the football game...I wonder where his daughter was? It would be cute to see her become friends with Gracie. I can understand Grover at the football game without his daughter, but what I can't understand his him being at Thanksgiving dinner without his son or daughter. I was actually thinking about that very thing ... it would have been nice to at least see a comment along the lines of Danny's moan about Grace ditching him on Halloween so she could go out with her girlfriends. Just a brief mention that he hoped she was enjoying her Thanksgiving with ... whoever. It was a pretty obvious omission.

So, that leaves only their mother that they would be with. If she is also on the island, that means another Danny-copy scenario. But if she is on the mainland, that at least explains Grover having to go the entire day without seeing them. Regardless, a mention should have been the minimum.

My understanding is that the mother/wife is on the mainland--back in Chicago? --and I'm thinking that the son and daughter are with her for the holiday. But a mention would be nice....but with Mr. Lenkov, there is a lot we still need to assume and imagine. Although, I must say, he has gotten better about stuff like that.....

And another thing that struck me as weird about this ep.... What was the purpose of Danny bringing up Steve's Strawberry Fields mission? It was just sort of out of the blue and hasn't been mentioned for 2 years. Thought this was odd....... I was reading in the paper this morning about the CIA using prisoners as double agents. The article mentioned Guantanamo Bay and the CIA's secret facility there - a prison known as "Strawberry Fields". Of course, I immediately thought of Steve and his classified mission. I wonder of this was just a coindicident or if the writers of the Strawberry Fields episode had heard of this place.

I think that was the writers attempt at continuity. Good point, cookiejar. Maybe they wanted to remind us of it because it'll figure in a future episode???
