I'm soooooooo thrilled with the results. I couldn't be happier! I'm over doing the happy dance... oh, yea! oh, yea! oh, yea! Alex won 2 awards! Musicfreak and Darksea, you did it! Great... no, FANTABULOUS job! Thanks so much. I know seeing Alex's name on the winner's list is kind of a silly dream when there are so many serious matters in the world today, but we've got to have our fun, too. And, this has been great fun. Dani, what I wouldn't do for one of your smiley faces that dances across the page. |

scarla, you can download them from google, I go to images, specify what kind of smiley I want ie dancing smiley, and under advanced seach options, it saves time to specify gif file format.... then check them out and save the ones you like, keep them in a file folder ready for use.... I get most of mine from emails I receive, but if I ever run accross one in a site, I'll save it, or I'll look for a specific one. The only thing is then you have to download it to tinypics or somewhere like that to get a URL. The fastest is when you want one, do the serach, and copy the URL from there, so you don't even have to save anywhere, just paste the URL, make sure there is no "s" in the http:/, and highlight, hit the postcard icon above the smiley's bar and away you go.... |

Thank you musicfreak for the H50 awards. It was so much fun to vote and it was important to recognize the best of the best. I am glad to see Alex was the winner for excellence in acting. So much emotion through those beautiful eyes.

Way too much work went into these awards by 2 very talented and dedicated people to let an oversight just slip by. Yes, Musicfreak was the one who started this thread, but Musicfreak and Darksea were partners on this, and we wouldn't have had any of it without either one of them. I just want to make sure credit is given to where it's due. So, again, Darksea and Musicfreak, thank you for all the work and making all of our days much brighter with something very fun to look forward to every Friday.

Hooray, and thank you darksea and musicfreak! This was indeed wonderful. Most of my picks won, and we had mucho fun watching for your updates. Now, I wonder, with all the new roles and cast members, maybe we should do this again over the Christmas break instead of waiting all year for the next one?

Oh, I think we may be able to put up a small little poll every now and then to even gauge how you all feel about these new cast members. I already had a vision for 'character you would like to kill with your bare hands or with tools'.

okie27- I was just commenting on his beautiful eyes and the way he communicates so much emotion through them. I wasn't saying that he reacted to winning best actor, although I would love to see that reaction in his eyes. I don't think he knows that we voted him as best actor.Someday, I hope we can notify him of how much we admire him and his skills as an actor.

I would love to do polls and eventually another set of awards, i know how much work it took on Darksea and Musicfreak's part, so maybe for a while polls would be good. But Darksea, i think that would be an intersting category/poll....Although I have a feeling who would win... |
