Great episode, really good story, Alex was fantastic very good acting with his emotions. Loved all the flash backs with Steve father.

Loved Alex's acting and loved the story. Not too sure about Ellie. She was ok in the beginning but lost interest in her by the end.

why the quarter on the grave? ? Army or Navy tend to leave coins as a way to pay their respects to fallen comrades. A quarter left on a grave sends a message that someone who was with that person when they died paid a visit. Steve was on the phone with his dad when he died, so who could say he was there. |

From yesterday's episode Ho'oilina, we can infer that Danny was back in New Jersey for a memorial service for Mattie. I thought Mattie was alive and not in the barrel but I was wrong. I am completely convinced that Catherine is the best person for Steve. However, I really like the friendship that may be developing between Allie and Steve. She is his link to his Dad and that is a powerful thing. I like the actress they selected for this part. She did a very good job! Excellent emotions from Steve! Isn't it time for Alex to be nominated for Best Actor in a drama series?

Liked that in the episode you saw and heard Steve talking to Mary, mentioning his aunt, and leaving a message for Danny. We the viewers need that type of continuity. At least I do.
But still no mention of Cath yet as far as I remember.

It was a really good episode. I liked that Mary and Joan and Aunt Deb were mentioned. I also liked that Steve tried to call Danny-so we know he was in NJ dealing with his family and Matt's funeral and such. Still waiting for some mention of Cath this season. The Jerry thing is getting old...looks like that story line is coming to a head in next week's Halloween ep. Hope that will do it for Jerry for a while........

The Jerry thing is getting old...looks like that story line is coming to a head in next week's Halloween ep. Hope that will do it for Jerry for a while........ Have to agree about Jerry. I liked him in moderation but the show is getting a bit crowded when you have to add in his storyline. |

I like the storyline Jerry, at least we do not have the whole episodes only focused on the case in season 5 and we also have a recurring storylines, such as Jerry and brother Danny.
