I wonder if Peter is happy how Alex is talking about this episode they both have different idea about the relationship between Steve and Catherine I think its quite funny. Alex has really ended Steve and Cath now the way he is talking about Catherine. Plus really sad to here he is getting Stem Cell Treatment for his back he must be in pain I hope the show is paying for this.

So after reading all these interviews with Alex I think he is up set and piss off with Peter over a lot of thing with the show. Like the writer and Peter not listening to what he think about story lines, Not been told what is happening in storylines, leaving big storylines in the air and doing nothing with them. I think something must of happened after he sign a new contract for season 7 and 8 because it sounds like he would not of done that with the way he is talking now. He just shot Peter in the foot about Steve and Catherine story line now Peter won't be able to tease fans about it anymore. I think the show should finish after season 7 so Alex can get his back better and to rest his body. Alex is not a happy camper at the moment. I have never seen Alex speak like this about the show before.

I'm not sure that they're necessarily thinking differently about Catherine ... they just have different information about Catherine. Alex knows only what's in the scripts he's seen and Peter probably has things mapped out all the way through an 8th season that, at some point, brings Catherine back again. So I think he'll keep teasing us just as he has for 7 seasons. In regard to Alex signing for seasons 7 and 8, he said something that makes me think that Scott DID have to give them a little more in order to get what he wanted ... fewer episodes. Alex said he wouldn't have signed for two more seasons if he and Scott weren't friends. I kinda take that to mean that Scott had already signed through season 8 (when he renegotiated for fewer episodes) so Alex decided he'd stick with it for that long as well to keep the Steve / Danno dynamic intact. I don't think I'd say Alex is pissed off with Peter over a lot of things with the show. He does say he doesn't talk to the writers because they have their ideas and Alex has his. But then he says if his ideas had been used, they might not still be on the air. I think that was his way of saying, so maybe the writers know what they're doing. I think Alex maybe feels like he can be more honest about his feelings now than he could a few years ago. He knows he's got an end-date and he maybe thinks he's going to be disappointing a lot of fans. So he's talking about reasons that the show should end. His fans can certainly understand that he's been injured more than he should have been and maybe he figures they'll want what's best for him so he's talking about these things now that the end is in sight. I just want to add (because he mentioned stem cells), that stem cells are amazing and it's a good thing he's doing. Seven months ago I was lucky if I could stand up for more than a minute because of constant pain in my hip. I couldn't walk well enough some days to go down to our cafeteria at work to get lunch and I often had to sit down when leaving my office to go to my car because I couldn't walk all that way without extreme pain in my hip. It sometimes took me 10-15 minutes to walk a distance that should have taken 2-3 minutes because I had to sit down and rest my hip. In late April, I had some stem cells harvested and injected into my hip joint and I'm totally pain free six months later. The effect was almost immediate, I think because the original injection created a sort of "cushioning" in the area they were targeting. But now, degeneration that could be seen in my hip is being repaired by my own stem cells and I'd unreservedly recommend that anyone having similar joint issues ask their doctor about stem cells. The downside is that my insurance didn't cover it so I had to wait a while until I had the money to have it done. But I don't regret it one bit as it's a long-term solution and, in my case, seems to be a complete success. I hope Alex has the same success with his stem cell procedure.
