It depends on what time they each were born. Right this minute it's 4pm Sunday, Daylight Saving Time in California, and 9am Monday, Standard Time, in Sydney. If they'd been born at exactly the same time in their halves of the world, that would put them 13 hours apart.* Scott was born on the 23rd, and Alex was born on the 24th, in their respective countries. Assuming they exchanged birth times (I don't know them) they might have worked out that Scott was born, say, at this time, 4pm on the 23rd, and 7 hours later would have been 11pm. That would make it 12 noon when Alex was born in Canberra, on the 24th. But it would have been the same day for each of them - Alex at 11pm on the 23rd - California time - and Scott at 5am on the 24th, Canberra time.
*I realize that makes no sense but I haven't figured out another way to put it.

margarine it does make sense basically they were born on the same day but on different sides of the world....Also as you have Daylight Savings time ours here hasn't started yet.....so with the time difference it comes up different dates but time difference only the 7hrs so you basically need to know what time they were actually born......It makes perfect sense

Not that Alex sees this forum, but still the thought that Peter would pass it on to him, is enough, for me anyway. Just thought that i would ask  , doesn't hurt to ask. |

Time zones can get kinda confusing...but yet it all makes sense...(even though that didn't...)
There are so many birthdays in august related to this forum....but isn't it kinda weird that I don't really know anybody that was born in August..(friends famliy neighbors etc. )
