Since Hawaii Five O has decided to go off in so many different directions, I thought that we needed a place to keep track.

Note: You will have to access this thread from the main board, I will be making adjustments to this first thread, which means the adjustments will not show up as new topics.

These will be topics that have not been addressed or fully resolved, feel free to respond with any I have missed, so I can add them to the scoreboard.

- Why is CBS' synopsis now saying that it was a questionable shooting?
- Why didn't Steve or Danny care earlier? (supposedly resolved via imagination)
- How they made the connection between the little old lady and the theft of the money.
Chin and the HPD
- So what happened to Chin's Uncle?
- Chin's house and the loan shark (partially resolved 1.23)
- Kono and Chin's family, Cousin Sid, and all the rest that shunned Chin before he was accepted back into HPD's arms
Means and Immunity
- How is the new governor picking and choosing what is within the means and immunity?
- What purpose is Lori really serving?

Darksea tell me if I am wrong in Ep 22 chin got the money from the loan shark for the deads for his house, and in Ep 23 steve told chin to take the money back to the loan shark and get your deads back for your house.

Yes, we did see that, but since when did loan sharks take such things at face value? And did he actually have a chance to do that before all the crap went down?

another storyline dropped by TPTB. Last episode of the season I think, he surrendered to Steve and Danny after their hug. No further mention of him in season 2. Why wasn't he killed by Wofat too, after Victor Hesse was killed in prison?? I hope he comes back, I love his character and acting.

And even if he did return the money - wouldn't he owe him 'interest' even on such a 'short loan'? Loan sharks are in it to make money and once they get hold of you ... Even if he's a cop ...

I agree and usually that interest rate is at some astronomical level like 75-80% I never used one though! lol

That's a lot of loose threads...I knew there were a lot---but wow. And with all those loose threads--they still took a whole episode to introduce Her Orange Shininess.

Right now I can't think of anything else....and I'm thinking Sang Min must have gone into some sort of protective custody after he turned himself in to 5-0.

Darksea- These writers need to develop all of these story lines. I would bet you are the only one who has made this type of list.I am sure the producers don't have a list like this. What are they being paid for again? I am not sure.

Darksea, you mentioned so many things that I had totally forgotten about. Let's hope the writers haven't forgotten as well. Now if someone could be so kind to refresh my memory, who's Duke?
