“Hater” is a word used, almost 100% of the time, by awful people, with awful flaws, that refuse to defend their awful selves. Typically it is a very poor and lazy defense mechanism used by a shitty human being that cannot even attempt to defend a terrible trait, despicable attitude, or an obnoxious error of existence.
This is the best.

Yeah, i kind of feel like i'm a double standard person. I don't like LG herself or should i say i don't think she is a good actress. But i only mention her character on Twitter, and i really don't want Lori to stay on. But i feel as if i mention LG is a bad actress...i would be labeled a hater and no one would pay attention to what i have to talk about!

Lauren isn't an impressive actress by any sense of the word. But the main issue is with her character, and the blame for the poor writing of her character, doesn't and shouldn't, fall on her shoulders. Because it's not her fault.

Lately I've been trying to only use LW's name & character BUT it doesn't matter to twitdiots. She's one in the same to them. I save the LG stuff to write to CBS directly. The bloggers who tweet have made it their priority to diss petition so the foot soldiers can RT & RT it. Some idiot on imdb board yesterday mentioned petition was a joke w/ " all the Lori haters, they can only get 325 signatures". Makes me feel bad but our posts just get buried under earth their garbage.

Jox, you need to understand something, and I am not trying to be mean here, but the fact that they knew how many signatures the petition had? Means that they went and looked at it.
AS for the bloggers who tweet, they HAVEN'T dissed the petition. They just said that they wouldn't sign it themselves. And then the same 14 people come in and do their thing, and then it passes. The ones who make the biggest deal...are those who jump all over it. That's actually some of us.
Our posts don't get buried under anything. If you don't add the #H50 tag on twitter, you're just talking to your own followers, and you have to make sure that the tags are exactly right, too. Many of our petition posts have figured so prominently that that they are being picked up by 'bots and spread into many of these online journals.
You're letting less than 20 people get to you. That's losing the battle before you even fight it.
As for IMDB...same posters, different identities. We already established a long time ago, that they were nothing more than troublemakers, but they are troublemakers that saw the petition. And for every troublemaker that sees the petition and slams it down, there are 5 others who will sneak in and sign. Even calling it stupid, and broadcastng to the world that Lori haters are at work...is still advertising in our favor.

(Under "JanePlain") IMDB would be one of those boards where I'd just post the link and let it go. Like darksea said for every 1 who speaks out against it, there will be 5 who see it and sign it. At this point, I just feel that certain boards ( like IMDB) it would just be wasting energy to fight them on it. That's just me.

Most of those people are morons who don't know crap about ratings, but think they do. Mostly they use a lot of exclamation points (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) like they're trying to be louder or something? And sticking to the point of this thread, they use the word hater quite a bit. So I just slap them in the face and walk away. It's quite pleasurable. ;D

True confession time.....
I am so twitter/social media stupid that I did not know the verb "to hate" had been turned into the noun "hater" until Sept when I heard Serena Williams call the umpire at the US Open tennis tournament a "hater" on national television. What an ugly display that was.
