Since I have documented Steve and Danny's bromance with a pictorial review and examined the nuances of Chin's Hawaiian shirts, I thought it only fitting to now pay homage to the wonderful character that is Kono. She is smart, strong, loyal, fearless and beautiful.....and no one could ever take her place. Here are some pics of Kono's most memorable looks and moments (complete with my captions). Enjoy! Not Kono, but Grace Park the actress, at the second SOTB. She looked so good compared to SWSNBN in her nothing boring microdress and stupid chunky shoes.
She's a very pretty woman who still looks like she could be your best buddy and be fun doing anything.
Her scenes with Chin, when she's defending him against the whole family always make me think of her as Chin's shining knight, and when she works with Steve or Danno, she's funny and bright. She even made her scenes with SWSNBN bearable, and that is really is no small feat.
I really don't see that they need another woman on board - we get them off the team and that's enough. So PL, please stop trying. Kono is woman enough.

You go Dani! Completely agree. Kono is awesome! Grace Park is so elegant and classy and is represents the show well. I would also add that I love how Kono has a different relationship with each team member - and none of it is sexual! I love how McGarrett is her mentor and maybe there is a little bit of hero worship but mostly just learning from him as well as having his back and being his friend. I like the playfulness and teasing friendship that Kono and Danny have, the two have fun together but again always have each other's back. Kono and Chin - cousins with a deep bond, complete loyalty and as you said, Kono stood up to the family in support of her cuz. Yes, Kono is definitely enough woman! Tough but yet caring and tender with victims and competely kick ass to the bad guys. You don't improve on perfection, leave the team and Kono alone.

Love the pics! Agree with what has been said. Don't want to see another woman on the team /don't need another woman on the team- Grace/Kono is the whole package.
