I'm afraid that she is going to come back in the finale and save Steve from the real Shelbourn. Die doing it and then we have to hear about it for the next 5 seasons. On second thought, that is better than her sticking around as recurring. Hey, if that's part of the price to get another 5 seasons, I'll gladly pay it. I'm worried about just getting season 3 now! Oh boy, Paget Brewster is leaving CM? Noooooo! And I think Matthew Gray Gubler's contract is up for renegotiation, too.

You know what really blow my mind is that people are coming out the woodwork at the moment and are saying "I didn't like Lori for the first 13 episodes, but she was starting grow on me in the last couple of episodes". Well, here is the thing her screen time was being reduced as they were inching her towards the door, hence why she as less annoying in the last couple of episodes. They didn't change the character, they just had her around less which freed up time during the episodes to include those things we love about the show that got cut to make room for her to beginning with. Maybe it's like a really bad smell that is constant. After a while your senses adjust so you don't notice it as much.

I would gladly put up with Bori showing up one more time if it meant she dies but will Petey kill his pet off? Somehow I don't think he will so sadly we're stuck with her.

Prentiss is one of my favorite characters....

That has been done this season and it would be weird to do that to Lori--although if it got her permanently offed and off the show....I could get used to the idea......just saying.

I'm sorry to personally dash anybody's hopes, aspirations or dreams, but business is business, and once you have been scheduled for the contract, you fulfill it or get bought out and none of the networks are buying anybody out. While I would love to stand here and tell you all that I do know, which would put no doubt left in anybody's mind, should I do that, I will never be able to do that again.
Just suffice it to say as long as the bitch is breathing oxygen, she will be back.

In a way I hope it is not for the last episode because that would leave a bad taste in my mouth (literally) until next season. If she has to come back - make it quick and painless. It should be interesting to see how are the writers going to bring her back without reminding us how pathetic she looked confessing her feelings for her boss.

Ok, one thing to keep in mind, as well, is that she did try to cover her ass while expressing her feelings for her boss, and that is what PL is going to fall back on in that awkward moment. She didn't just say 'my feelings for you." She said 'my feelings for you... and the entire team'. So it's already been written out of.
They left it as wide open as they did for Puffy, but with an even better chance of her coming back. Yes, as a matter of fact the real question now is; one more or more than one?

So, just a question it´s official that she really did sign a contract for 16 episodes??? Because, till now, we didn´t know for sure, when it comes to her, nobody says anything official!!!! Just a doubt that I have!

The only way anything is official is when it airs on the screen.

I wonder what was PL's reasoning behind having LW leave and then bring her back for what I hope is her last episode. Was that part of the plan all along? Did he think we the fans would have a different opinion ( a more favorable opinion ) of her once she left and we didn't see her for a while? Was he hoping "distance would make the heart grow fonder"? I for one do not want to see her again after she fulfills her contract. The character was poorly written from the beginning and I don't think bringing her back in another capacity like homeland security team leader would make her character any more tolerable at this point.
