Had my hair done this afternoon and was chatting with my stylist about shows we are watching this season. She DVR's Castle every week, but she got home 'early' last night and watched a bit of The Playboy Club while she ate. I asked if she every tried H50. She said yes and enjoyed it last week, but doesn't want to watch it now with the 'white trash' that they added. "Have you seen any of her stuff? I'm not going to watch her - sickening! She needs a stylist - bad." Now, this from a person who didn't even 'give her a chance' on H50, just dismissed the whole program because she is now on it. Sad - how many others did this?

I laughed so hard at your story I almost pissed myself! I can't remember what thread it's on, but if you can read Darksea's Mom's comments.......priceless!!! My fave: " I thought she had a stick up her ass but it was her spine"!!! I about died! Thanks for the big chuckle

They have too much invested to cancel it. To meet their TNT syndication deal, they have to have at least three seasons in the bag.
Di, you're right, the 18-34 females are the prize section of the 18-49 demographic.

I doubt she'll be attractive to any woman over the age of 18. Men, yeah, well.... different story.

Do the writers and producers realize if this downward spiral continues at such an early part of Season 2, then we are looking at a cancelled show? Alex, Scott, Grace and Daniel deserve better than this. Someone please tell the writers to watch Season 1 again. I think they forgot what a hit show actually looks like! Drop LG character and reinstate Kono immediately!

Not sure where to put this, but I was going through Peter's tweets, and someone asked him when the show was wrapping for the season, and he said April. Do you think CBS could have already given them the extension after the 13 ep mark? This is coming from Lenkov himself. Has to be a good sign for a full season.

He is operating under the concept that he has 22 cleared episodes, with the option to add 2 more to make 24.
CBS has agreed to air 13.
There is a difference between what a producer operates under, and what the brodcasting channel will air.

I'm very curious to see next week's ratings. They seem to have sold out on the loyal viewers in hopes of recruiting a different group. I watch little television, but loved this show for its comic book super hero appeal. I don't want a soap opera with a flea-brained sex kitten. I outgrew such fascinations quite awhile ago.
I've hoped that they would better develop Kono's character. Maybe this is all part of the master plan. Free Kono!

Thank you for posting....from all the different stories I have read today, and all the anecdotal evidence...not very many people find her attractive in a love interest sort of way. Unless you are a guy who is attracted to boobless toothpicks.....

By the time CBS makes a decision to give H5-0 the back 9--I fear it will simply be too late. Especially since they probably have a good 6 episodes in the can and the scripts/story lines for upcoming shows are done or very nearly finished.

It's not going to be too late. darksea said that CBS is way too invested into 5-0 to not try and fix it. Plus, they have the syndication deal with TNT that requires 3 seasons. Many people on this forum have been tweeting their little fingers off, and sending emails, and letters. Lets hope viewers will stick around until they get this show fixed.

She is Wonderfupa. Hell, even Steve in his best SuperSEAL mode made mistakes and was human. Lori can it all by herself and the team can just take a holiday while she takes care of everything. I LIKE strong, smart women. But let's keep it real. That's my tweet for after a couple of episodes of Lori shinyness have been shown. Let's face it, next to Wonderfupa, our Fab 4 are all idiots who should be asking her what to do next.

I wouldn't call Lori a ComicBook-character. She is more like a Mary-Sue! A female character who is so perfect that she is annoying. The name originated in a very short Star Trek story that mocked the sort of female characters who showed up in fanfiction. It usually refers to original female characters put into fanfiction, but can refer to any character. Mary-Sues are characters who are usually extraordinarily gorgeous, amazingly talented, unusually powerful, and exceedingly attractive to whoever the author has a crush on. They often possess ridiculously fancy and pretentious first names -- Angel, Raven, Jewel, Lorelei Bianca Julia Marizza Snape -- and are very, very annoying.

Were you reponding to what I said? I never suggested that Lori is a comic book character. I called her a flea brained sex kitten:) To me, the show overall has comic book characteristics. It's fake as heck, but fun to watch. I don't like them turning it into a second rate soap opera.
