The real question is how much of a drop off will there be next because people decide that not ot bother after last night's debacle.  That will be the true test. |

Yeah because those look almost identical to the numbers from last week, this was curiousity killed the cat week. Next week is going to be the cat came back from the dead, and he's a little pissed.

Someone on Twiiter tweeted that H50 beet castle in the 18-49 demographic because of LG. Perhaps we should correct them.

Check out the thread for last week's episode (episode 2:01) and then compare to this week's. You will see that statistically, they are similar, and actually, H50 lost viewers.

I think the true tests will come in the next couple of weeks. There will be a downward trend from last night's numbers until we are in third...or lower. I do not have a good feeling about this. For any new viewers this season, after last night--wondering how many will stick around.

This is from TVbytheNumbers, please note the bold section as I believe and maybe DarkSea can correct me but 18-34 Demo is the gold standard of the 18-49 demographic as they are considered to have the most expendable income and the women are the preferred part of the demo as it is believed that most women still do the shopping so advertisers want to reach them in particular.
“Castle” (10:00-11:00 p.m.)
For the 2nd week in a row, ABC’s “Castle” (11.9 million) stood as the most-watched TV show in the 10 o’clock hour, besting CBS’ “Hawaii Five-0” (+7% - 11.1 million) and more than tripling NBC’s “The Playboy Club” (+205% - 3.9 million). The ABC drama once again doubled “The Playboy Club” with Adults 18-49 (+123% - 2.9/7 vs. 1.3/3). In addition, “Castle” registered as the No. 1 series in the hour for the 2nd week running with Adults 18-34 and across all key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54).
* In Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, ABC’s Castle was up over it year-ago performance on the evening (11.1 million and 2.8/8 – 9/27/10).

I wen to see the ratings right after darksea warned us to stock up on prozac....
I can't believe that I'm unhappy CBS did so well, and that I'm actually hoping the ratings drop next week, so we can prove our point....
