I am pagan and if that does not bother you then I would be happy to ask for the Goddess to show her love to your friends family and help them through this times. Healing thoughts and warmth sent both to your friend and her family as well to you who will be helpping them Welcome to the forum. Each of us has our own paths and beliefs in regards to our spirituality. I'm glad you shared yours with us.

Since I had a brief moment, I wanted to thank every one for their thoughts and prayers and give a quick update as to where things stand. The surgery went well and Caleb came through with flying colors. He did have a couple of minor setbacks in that the morphine that they gave him cause some digestive upsets that cause him to vomit. And as you can imagine throwing up when you have an incision in your chest isn't the most pleasant experience. Also, somewhere along the line, he also picked up a bit of an ear infection. The good news is that yesterday he felt up to spending some time in the hospital play room as you can see in the photo below. And the even better news is that he is currently schedule to be coming home today. Of course, this means the real fun is about to begin as they get him settled in at home and fully started on the road to recover. Finally, thank you again to everyone who has sent their best wishes and has been understanding of my lack attention to the board. And, please continue to keep Caleb and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he continues down the road to a full recover. Di P.S. I hope to be around the board a little more this week, but I make no promises as is going to be highly dependent on how things go once they get Caleb home and what if anything his parents and aunt needs me to help out with. Thanks again for the understand.

The had of God works miracles. So glad to hear (and 'see', thanks to the photo) that Caleb is doing well. More prayers for continued improvement for him and strength for his family. Bless you, Diana, for all you are doing for them. Take care of yourself, too.
