Came across these cool pics of the stages used for H50 and wanted to share. It is amazing the level of detail the set dressers go to in order to make everything look as real and natural as possible. The shots of the interiors go by so fast on the show it hard to notice all the details, but here you can really appreciate the effort that goes into the H50 sets. I love Steve's kitchen! I'd like to have it.
And I'm actually impressed that Danny even has a kitchen. Because last we knew, he was in the process of looking for an affordable place and we were left hanging on that topic.

i know, unless he's living with gabby now and they forgot to mention it or maybe he found a place and they forgot to mention it. because having a house is clearly important when it comes to going through a custody battle for your child.
btw, love the McG's house. it just feels like a family home, even if there's semi single guy living there.

Is that Danny's apartment from S1? The one he had to give up to condo development?
The McGarrett house is gorgeous!

Thanks for posting. A lot of details are missed when you are just viewing it on TV.

I wish they showed McGarrett's pantry area. Would love to see what he eats haha. And I love all the boxes of stuff laying around. I know Papa McG was a pack rat, and apparently Steve doesn't mind the clutter. Also, the lamp with no outlet made me laugh a little. As did the 70's style washer and dryer

I love this kind of thing. It never ceases to amaze me how they make it look so real. Sometimes you can see how they spend all the money that TV costs, even without seeing all the people and equipment. So much has changed from the early days, when walls looked like cardboard and set dressing was rudimentary. An awful lot of the time I really believe they've been filming in a real house or other place. This guy knows his stuff.

These pictures are very cool. I love how they made the rooms look real, clutter and all. The surprise to me is Danny's apartment. We saw so little of it that it surprises me that there is so much detail. It makes me wonder what is on the cutting room floor.

I thought I recognized part(s) of his apartment. It being from S1 makes more sense now. Although, I don't recall them showing any of the kitchen area, making it look like a one-room studio on tv.
