Just as good as the pilot episode ....provided your never saw the original series   welll-I did see the orginal series......the epsiode last night...a rip off of James Bond Movies.....  next week their bring back Ed ASner ...to play a part he played 30 years ago....2nd time around....  |

Yes, I'm sure many of us saw the original series. I was (and still am) a big fan. But I also love the reboot on its own merits. That's the nice thing about it ... you don't have to like just one or the other; you can like them both if you choose to.

Welcome to the forum noman. Each rendition have it's own merits, I like them both for different reasons. I do happen to prefer the reboot over the original, to me it is more about the characters with some good ole police work thrown in.
Enjoy yourself here, they are all great fun to be around.

Saw Ed Asner .....Saw him better as Lou Grant 35 years ago,,,, I also enjoyed Ed Asner as Lou Grant, both in the MTM Show and in Lou Grant (but think I actually liked him better in Lou Grant than MTM). But also liked him as August March. He might end up having the biggest OMG moment for me this season as he did last season! So is there anything about the series that you like and want to discuss? |

Uhm, Kath? Did you see last night episode? March's dead DUH! That's why I said he might end up having the biggest OMG moment of the season for me. We've only seen two episodes ... I don't know if there might be a bigger OMG moment but so far, stepping in front of the truck is the biggest OMG moment of the season for me. (And it's Kat, not Kath.) |
