I was actually up in the middle of the night watching this tsunami warning live. I couldn't sleep so I turned on the tv. I was shocked! This was 2 days after Baby O'Loughlin was born. If Hawaii is anything like Indiana, then that was the day that Alex and Malia would've been bringing their baby boy home. I'm sure that was an eventful first day home. Maybe they were not ones that had to be evacuated. I think they said that only 80,000 people of Oahu were evacuated, mainly the ones closest to shore.
My question is for our Canadians. Did any of you feel the earthquake? And, are all of you and your loved ones okay?

I'm on the other side of the country, so more worried about Sandy than the earthquake. All reports I've heard state no injuries from the quake, so hopefully that's the case and everyone out in BC is okay.

We heard about it just hours before we left for the airport. Arrived on O'ahu the next day, and it had turned out to be nothing but cautious evacuations and warnings. We were glad of that, weather like that causes enough damage as it is.
