CBS has made a lot of schedule changes for next fall that all us viewers are going to have to work with/around. From what I've seen/heard, networks release live viewing numbers almost immediately, then again later to factor in online/OnDemand/DVR. Although it's nice to get both sets and for later viewers to not be ignored, they definitely need to catch up and collect their data a new way.

cookiejar... why do you think there may not be a season 5? I hope I am wrong but it seems like CBS might just get enough episodes for syndication and then cancel it. Just a feeling. But I would like to see it go on for a couple more years.

But I would like to see it go on for a couple more years. But if H5-0 performs even moderately well, CBS would still be getting a boatload of money per episode (in the $2.5 million per episode range) just to keep it on the air and add to the episodes available for syndication. It doesn't have to be a hit for CBS to make that money so that could serve as quite an inducement to continue to renew it. I don't know if the move to Friday will get us past S4 to S5 but if it does, they'll start showing S1 in syndication and maybe it'll do the same for H5-0 that syndication did for NCIS. That's when the NCIS first-run numbers started to go up and it became the major hit that it is now.

Good point, katlyn520 - there are some shows I only started watching because they were in syndication which is where I saw them first.

Good point, Katlyn and CookieJar. I am a viewer that hates reruns and likes to plow through episodes once I'm hooked on them. Being in syndication would be more conducive to that and could attract new viewers that way.

I know that i am disappointed it is moving to Friday's because i go out that night and I like Grimm and would usually try to make it home to watch that. Now i have to make it home to watch one of them and which one should it be, and then remember to watch online the one i didn't watch. Frustrating!!
