Ok guys on Amazon.com Season 3 of H50 will be released on DVD on 24th September 2013. Pre order now.
So we have another 3 months before the DVD is out.

CBS Home Entertainment has today announced that Hawaii Five-0 - The 3rd Season is coming to DVD ($64.99 SRP) and high-def Blu-ray Disc ($72.99 SRP) on September 24th. Bonus material for these sets will consist of Audio Commentary Tracks on selected episodes (by the likes of Peter Weller, Glen Olson, Rod Baker, Joe Halpin, Peter Lenkov, Alex O'Loughlin, and Grace Park), Deleted Scenes, a Gag Reel, Alternate Endings for Kapu (Forbidden), and Featurettes called "Short Lines," "Aloha Action!," "Script to Screen" and "Hawaii Five-Over The Whole Wide World." Additionally, the Blu-ray version will have some Easter Eggs hidden on it. Here's the packaging, along with a button link to pre-order these from Amazon:

Amazon is currently offering it for pre-order for $45.49 rather than the $64.99 SRP. The nice thing about pre-ordering from Amazon is that you only lock in that price if it goes up ... you'll still pay $45.49. But if the price goes down between now and when it's released, they'll give you the lower price.

This is the first year I haven't pre-ordered the DVD. Last year I pre-ordered season 2 and ended up paying @$32.95....less than the price when I put in the order. Or I could wait 6 months and get it for really cheap at Wal Mart. Don't know what I'm going to do yet......

Well-I didn't last very long....I just put in my pre-order for season 3. My birthday is in September.....so I use my birthday money to buy it.

Does anyone know how to find out what kind of extra bonus materials are on the DVD verses the Blue Ray sets? Normally I get the DVD set but we have a Blue Ray player now and I'm trying to figure out if the extra $20 difference in price is worth the Blue Ray.

I thought comparing what they included in previous seasons would give a clue but the only special features they list are for the first season DVDs. They list none (wrong) for the second season DVDs and none (also presumed wrong) for both the first and second season Blu-rays. You could try comparing what they list elsewhere that offers both but that's the only thing I can think of unless someone owns the Blu-rays and can tell you what's included. |

Yeah, I didn't see anything on Amazon either but thought maybe I just overlooked it. Will have to do what you suggest and see if anyone else who is selling it has a listing. I will probably just get the DVD's though cause I don't know that I actually can afford to spend the extra money on the others. Eh, we will see. Thanks for the input. ;D
