Hi debraluv50 I think we have to wait and see how season 4 go's. If we have high rating for season 4 like between 10 and 12 million then I can see us having 6 or 7 seasons. I don't think the fab 4 will want to do anymore after that, they will want to do other things.

I know that syndication creates more income for the core 4 and the entire 5-0 crew but is it a sign that they may not be renewed for a 5th season? I am worried about that possibility. I actually kinda think of it as a good sign. People have said that by moving H5-0 to Friday, they're showing they're not committed to the show. But I'd prefer to now think that if they weren't that committed, they wouldn't have amended the TNT deal to let them show it a year earlier and, perhaps, generate more interest in the Friday version of the show. I think they're hoping it will be a benefit to the new episodes. Of course I'm thinking about what syndication did for NCIS ... I don't think I'd expect H5-0 to become a number 1 show but I'm thinking it could move up in the ratings (especially now that it doesn't have to contend with Castle and whatever new shows NBC keeps throwing into that timeslot). I could be totally off the mark but I'm thinking of it optimistically.

They must have really amended the original agreement. They were originally going to start showing Season 1 AFTER CBS completed showing Season 4 and now they're already showing Season 2. I might be overly optimistic but I have to believe that CBS hopes this will drive viewers to the original episodes on Friday night by showing them what they missed when it was shown on Monday night. And it really IS nice to, once again, be watching 5-0 on Monday night (even if it's not every week)!
Oh, and thank you, mandyblue, for the schedule. I wouldn't be watching 5-0 right now without seeing your schedule and finding there's an episode on tonight. Mahalo!
