This was a very good ep. I won't give anything away here, because I know a lot of the country hasn't seen it --or is in the middle of watching it---I will have lots more tomorrow! Good ep!

Not bad, not great. I wasn't exactly on the edge of my seat, but I wasn't yawning either. Tim Daly still looks good. The peanut butter scene was great. Innovative way to interrogate a suspect, 5-0 should take notes. Kono as usual amazing, you wonder what she needs Adam for since the 2 things she doesn't do, he doesn't either. I want a smart board. But just like Danno's chances of driving his own car, it won't happen any time soon. Nice car, though. I love Monkey, but she never really looks like she's having any fun. She's really growing up beautiful, though. Danno gonna have some trouble there. So 2-Face Wo Fat isn't Steve's brother. That doesn't mean he's not Doris's son. Yep, my latest theory is still that WF is Doris's son - but I wouldn't put it past the show to have, as the big finale, that Steve is not Doris's. Just don't believe they would let this go so easily, and still can't think of any reason why Demented Doris let WF go. Just because she felt bad for killing his dad? Because WF is more dangerous to Steve dead/captured than alive?

It seems to me this Cath leaving the Navy came out of nowhere. I don't trust Billy. Think he had an ulterior motive for coming to see Steve. Steve is too trusting like Danny said.I also think that Doris might be Wo Fat's mom but not Steve's but I really hope not. PL better come up with another reason for Mama's behavior. Like the new car and smart board. Chin has got a new look. Kono is still badass. Enjoyed seeing her. Thought the baseball scene was cute.

Because WF is more dangerous to Steve dead/captured than alive? I'm really glad to find that they didn't go the brothers route with this but that doesn't mean there isn't a familial relationship. There could still be one between Doris and Wo Fat that wouldn't be revealed by a DNA comparison of Steve and Wo Fat. Or it could be as simple as they knew each other some time in the past but under other names and when she recognized that he was Wo Fat and he recognized that she was Shelburne, something kept both of them from killing the other. Whatever is between them, it's stronger for both of them than any revenge they desire. It wasn't just Doris who didn't shoot when they came face to face. Neither did Wo Fat.

Just had a chance to rewatch it - tried chatting last night while I watched it and notice I missed a lot. Really impressive how Kono took out the bad guys all by herself. And even though I don't know if the rumors about Grace Park are true, she was wearing really loose clothes. Will she or won't she stay with Adam? I think she will stay for a while. Thought it was awfully suspicious how Billy mentioned to Steve about his last mission. He did that on purpose. And Billy knew Cath had not submitted the papework yet and still brought up to Steve about her leaving the Navy. Steve should listen to Danny - Cath working with Billy is trouble. Glad to hear from Steve that is relationship with Cath is solid. Where is this whole WoFat/Doris thing going? I hope it doesn't get dragged on forever. Some good carguments with Danny and Steve both in the Marquis and the new Camaro. Really liked the episode.

I was surprised by Kono's fight scene too, because I couldn't kick like that if I were pregnant.... OK, let's admit it, I couldn't kick like that, period. I tried to see if it could be her stunt double but by the time I thought to check, they cut the scene. I suppose it's possible in a really convoluted way (which PL would enjoy), that Demented and 2-Face didn't realize who they were... aliases, bla bla.... and then they face each other and it's like "oh, it's you, sorry I killed your dad, I'll let you go, and don't kill my son in retaliation, OK?" Not sure which scenario I like less.

Liked the new car, okay. Still hard to get used to the idea of it not being silver. Can't believe Danny was so careless with the keys, letting Steve snatch them like that. Honestly would have preferred it if Danny had refused to let Steve drive. Though it was supposed to be Danny that was guilty of grinding the gears, think it's funnier if it's Steve, though.
Not sure what I think about the whole Billy thing. Sure, it's a story arc, so that's fine. I think the one little detail about it that bugs me is that it felt like Steve was giving his permission for her to take the job, even though she said it was a decision she needed to make on her own. Um, excuse me, but Catherine is a grown woman who can make her own career choices without anyone's permission. That's probably gonna rub me wrong for a while.
Loved Adam and Kono. She fishes, she kicks ass, she fixes the jeep. Oh yeah! Adam is obviously thinking that he isn't gonna come out of this alive and doesn't want to take her down with him. So, Doris didn't stay with them? Just 'got them settled' then split?
Glad that the whole half-brother thing came out negative. It was worth enduring that silly scenario just to see Danny sitting in the passenger seat of the Marquis staring at Steve. And maybe Dani is right and Doris is WF's mom, but not Steve's. I just hope they don't drag this topic out all season.
Still no word on Fong??? Not even a mention.
Liked how the ending was Grace heading for home plate. She didn't have but the one line that I remember, but the ending was very good.
Oh yeah, there was a storyline in there somewhere. Yeah, it was okay.

I liked parts of this episode and didn't like other parts. The whole deal with Billy and Catherine leaving the navy felt somewhat contrived and a little like filler material to me.
I did love the ball game and Danny's line "We love Uncle Steve but he doesn't know anything about baseball so don't listen to him." Did anyone notice that Max and Duke were in the stands for the last game.
Poor Danny -- new car, old scenario -- he still doesn't get to drive. He should, (if you'll pardon the pun), put his keys under "lock and key" so Steve can't get them.
Really enjoyed seeing Tim Daly again. Have to say he still looks hot.

I really like this episode, I wasn't bored for even a one second. Everything was great for me, the funniest scene, when Danny was admiring his new car and Steve took his keys and sat behind a wheel, I still smiling at this one. Very glad that Steve isn't related to Wo Fat, but that means we still don't know why Doris didn't killed Wo when she had a chance. And the last scene when Cath and Steve were kissing that was sweet ;-)

I think he was giving her permission to take the job because she had told him earlier that she thought it was "the perfect job" but turned it down because she didn't want it to hurt their relationship. I think he was just reassuring her that they're "good" and her taking the job won't hurt their relationship. I don't know. It didn't bother me.

It would be kick ass if McGarrett has told the Texas Ranger that Hawaii is his turf
