Elvis is back in Hawaii. Next time he comes, it'd be nice to have him sing while something good happens. He deserves it. The movie scene was cute but the forced and unneeded foreshadowing of Steve and Cath's love life ... not to mention Danno and Gabby's .... was, well, forced. Danno and his views on romance - I was thinking Gabby will never see a ring any time soon, and now I know why Danno has been the voice of doom and gloom and why his views on marriage make him kvech worse than even back in S1. So now he's breaking up with Gabby and we get to watch him find another girlfriend to be miserable with. And we'll also get to see Steve's soulful broken-hearted look at the end of every episode until they break up. Or Billy gets dead. Rebecca de Mornay is still a gorgeous woman. Good luck, Konad. Does anyone really think Adam will make it back with Kono? And oh yeah, the episode itself wasn't bad. I'm glad it wasn't the mother who was the killer, and that she actually liked Dahlia. And yeah, among all the romance going down the drain, the romantic in me was glad to see the wedding finally happen.

Thought the story was interesting . Glad to see Kono and Chin. Don't really like the Cath/Steve/Billy story line. PL made it sound like Grace would be the reason Danno and Gabby break up but it just seemed to me that Danno was using Grace as an excuse. Too bad I liked Gabby. Need to rewatch to see what I missed.

I liked Gabby too and Danny's excuse for breaking up does seem flimsy at best. I think Grace is old enough to understand that Gabby has to travel for her work sometimes and be away for months at a time. But Autumn Reeser is preggers in real life and they had to get "rid" of her somehow. At least they didn't kill her of........Oh well....The Cath /Stave/Billy triangle is going to get interesting....I don't think Steve trusts him, although both being SEALs they once trusted each other on missions. I wondering if Steve is having Nick Taylor flashbacks and wondering if Billy is going to sell out, too.
It wasn't a bad ep--probably not in my top ten..but it was good, and entertaining. And there was Chin and Kono. I liked it.

I'm liking Chin's character. He doesn't say a lot, but what he says is direct and pointed. Loved his directive to Adam.
Kono was especially bad a$$ last night. She's way stronger than Adam.
I know the Danno/ Steve banter is a favorite here, but it's getting tired( to me).
The Crime of the week was pretty good. I guessed the mother. I'm glad the writers fooled me:). I'll miss Gabby. Hope Danno isn't about to take a turn for the worse.

Just rewatched the episode. There was some discussion on the boards about how old Grace was suppose to be and Danny mentions (at the movies) he has an 11 year old daughter. So that clears that up. Even though I didn't want Danny and Gabby to break up, I thought it was a sort of sweet break up. Not one of those crazy, I hate you break ups. You could still tell they cared deeply for one another. Maybe she will be back, who knows. What is Billy's code name for Cath? Couldn't quite catch it - Little Wake or Little Wave? Anybody knows? Also, Cath and Steve are most definitely living together and Steve's look at the end suggests he doesn't really trust Billy. Liked the banter between Steve and the guy who sold the gun to the brother (Ty?) and between Steve and Cath in his office. Of course all the little bromance moments were funny, too.

Good Episode! Adam and Kono interrogating the Yakuza member was intense. They got out of him who they needed to. He at first said it was Michael Noshimuri who they are trying to avenge, but it came out as more. he told about them using Kono before thy cut her up. Adam wounds him. But they find out it is Aku Sato. Good that Chin had them take it off speaker phone. You don't know if the thug will escape or get word out to his consorts. Chin wants them to leave Hong Kong. Still Doris is MIA. She isn't helping them much. Nice for Danny to console Chin about Kono.
Steve/Catherine, Danno/Gabby in the theater. Steve isn't impressed. He goes back to his obnoxious days. Laughs and comments about the show. Danny has to explain the plot. Good thing they got the call! Catherine at work on her first detail was dressed sharp. Funny she asked Steve for a favor and he jokingly baulked. Seems they are playing up to our concerns. But he does help ofcourse. Billy calling themselves "Little Wing"(Cath.) and "Big kahuna"(himself) was cute. Steve waiting on the porch was nice her first night after work. Big Hug. Billy should have gotten a message there. But at end Billy telling Cath. he made the right choice and again Steve has that wonderment look in on his face.
John Fitzpatrick(Brad Dickson) found dead. He it seems is a guest and with further investigation Chin Ho finds out he and Dalia Barnes are related, Bro/Sis. Dalia Swain(Nicole Dickson) leaves her wedding and then crashes a nice Mustang. Please don't ruin old cars in shows!!! Then pushed down a embankment. All that rolling and her lap belt held her in place!?! Now we see John pushed her car the rest of way off the road. Danny saves her and she is pretty good shape in hospital. Head was up when Steve and Danny talked to her in hospital.
Future husband Nathan Cotchin and mom Barbara come in. I was sure it was her that did it. Even though Lawyer Allen Kingston seemed fishy too. Nice that Steve and Danny help push Nathan to go and tell her he loves her and he had seen her note to him. The hospital wedding was so sweet!!
Ty Amano who had the gun that killed Fitzpatrick was a nice change. He was cocky but playing beach volleyball instead of hangin out in an alley, bar or in his home and Danny and Steve having to run them down. He held a package for a guy? He sold the gun to Fitzpatrick. Nice that Barbara was bugged and helped 5-0 get Allen. He had a gun on her too to get 5 Mil. Allan hired them to scam Nathan for his money. But he said Delia did it.
Danny and Gabby split so she can go to 6 month assignment.Grace needs her. But Grace's mom should be around more. Hopefully they will be back together. Read on another forum she is pregnant in real life

One thing I was wondering about from Friday's episode....why is the Yakuza after Kono? I think I may have missed something somewhere..... I don't think you missed anything. We (and the characters) don't know that either, yet. Because maybe we have this totally backwards. We (aka the viewers and characters) have been assuming that the Yakuza are after Adam and Kono because Adam killed his brother Michael, but what if we are wrong? What if they are after Adam and Kono due to Kono association with Steve and his association with whatever Champ Box evidence that John aka Daddy McGarrett was investigating before his death? It could definitely explain why Mama McGarrett has been MIA where Adam and Kono are concerned and explain why she went to see WoFat at the end of last season, as she is more than happy to have everybody worried about Micheal's death, instead of investigating her secrets. And, we definitely know that she has more secrets to reveal, the question is are they directly tied to whatever was in the Champ box?.

As for McMommy, she sure isn't doing what she promised and appears to have ditched Adam & Kono as soon as they touched land.
