CBS Studios International spotlights Hawaii Five-0′s Alex O’Loughlin and Daniel Dae Kim

Press from all over the world was hosted by CBS Studio International at a three day event in in Los Angles. This annual event highlighted the CBS television stars to the international press. Alex O’Loughlin and Daniel Dae Kim were on hand to answer questions about Hawaii Five-0.
Daniel has loved the Lost reunions that have been going on recently on Hawaii Five-0, referring to recent appearances by Terry O’Quinn, Jorge Garcia and Henry Ian Cusick who have all appeared in Season 4. Spoiler Alert #1 – He teased that there may be a love interest in Chin’s future later this season.
The show’s star, Alex O’Loughlin, took the opportunity to thank fans, saying “without the fans, we’d be nothing – I’d be a carpenter!” He also clarified statements he made in a recent Associated Press interview. “It’s not my job, it’s my life!” he said, referring to being misquoted and portrayed as ungrateful in the article. During the panel, he took a call and put it on speaker phone. On the other end, a telemarketer offered a “free cruise” for answering a survey, to which O’Louglin responded by asking the room full of reporters, “Do we want to do this?” He is quite the jokester!
Spoiler Alert #2 - according to O’Loughlin, Mama McGarrett will come back into Steve’s life but disappear once again. This will have a profound psychological effect on him. It is also possible that McGarrett is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
For those lucky enough to see him in person, O’Loughlin offers up this tip about taking his photo, “Ask first, I’ll say yes”. Good to know.
