Haven't said this in a long time, but excellent, good episode. Bits of humour, a good interesting case, lots of action, a tear-jerking finale, and an all-around good feeling final scene. Oh, and I want to have eyelashes like Roy's. - Loved the whole principal's office scene, starting with Danno and the kid. - Not only did the guards never see Roy fiddling with the handcuffs, but Hawaii's finest never even glanced at the back seat. How does a large man in a blindingly white shirt hide out totally in a tight bace seat area? - Kono and Chin working a case together again was a beautiful sight. - Gotta love Steve's sense of honor. He gave his word, so off they go evading cops trying to save them. - Loved Danno telling Roy to buckle up. He knows what's coming. - Well, duh, the loose end is going to be dead. - Poor Danno. "I'm fine too". I'd give him a hug. - Glad everyone had a shot at Julian. - Roy HAD to die? We couldn't have a happy ending? H50 just has to have fans crying. - Glad that Steve finally paid a tab. That joke was getting old, not to mention making Steve look really cheap. I even liked Danno's clone in this one. And especially glad there was no Bambi Amber happening. The lovesick little look Danno had on his face when Steve was teasing him .... please, please please don't make Danno a lovesick little puppy over a girl barely older than his own daughter. Please don't destroy a lovely character all over again, for a cheap laugh.

But loved the episode enough that I'll be watching again shortly. And I DO have to say in Steve's and Danny's defense, I have a similarly sized 2-door car and don't think I'd notice someone in my backseat because the front seats come up high enough that the back seat is obscured. And I don't really look in the backseat when I get in my car. I think it's unusual that someone in white and orange would have been out in the open getting to and then into the Camaro and did wonder how that happened without anyone seeing him. But I didn't think it unusual that they got in the car without noticing that someone was in the backseat.

I missed the love sick look, too.
One thing I didn't really like was the hug Cath gave to Steve when the team finally met up after the kidnapping ordeal was over. Now that Cath is a member of 5-0 they gotta watch their PDA's. Although Steve didn't seem to mind too much.......This is me just being really picky about a really, really good episode....

Good tear jerking ep. Michael Madsen did a great job. The actress who played the daughter was good too. I didn't guess the twist with the fake FBI agents, and it's always good to be surprised. I was worried the carjacking would be either played for stupid laughs, or not be believable, but it was really dramatic and I bought the idea that Steve really was never in a position to take out Roy, until he finally did. And the takeout was pretty cool, and needed both guys to pull off.
I did find two things that annoyed me. I'll have to watch again, but I don't actually remember Steve promising to clear Roy's name before bringing him in, just that Five-O would look into the case and find out the truth. Regardless, it would have made much more sense to take him to 5-0 HQ, put him in the blue room, and then go clear his name. It's not like they were on a time limit, or had to keep him away from some dreadful fate that would happen in the next couple of hours. And had they done that, it 's likely Roy would still be alive. My other quibble is that it would have been nice to have at least a token attempt at teaching Grace the concept of non-violent confrontation. It's great that she was defending her friend, but congratulating and rewarding her for a punching a kid in the face is not exactly a stellar life lesson.

I thought it was a great episode top to bottom. Loved the opening sequence, and while I did not like that they killed off Roy in the end, I understand it for dramatic purposes. The last scene-the ohana moments- were just golden....

Sorry katlyn, the Danno lovesick puppy look was from last episode, and one I hope we'll never see again. I'll have to check my car next time I go to get into it - maybe mine is just more open, because I'm sure I can see everything in it from outside, and even if the interior was dark, a white shirt should show somewhat. Guess they were just so engrossed in their conversation that they didn't see anything.

Was pleased to read so many positive things about this episode, and finally got to watch it for myself.
* Grace in principal's office... new she'd stood up to a bully as soon as I read the episode description a long time ago. Liked the banter between daddy-Danny and Principal Fisk, but was disappointed that Grace didn't tell the whole truth to begin with. Yes, daddy-Danny would have taught her to stick up for others and stand up to a bully, but standing up to a bully also means telling on them.
* As for the perp ending up in the Camaro... I immediately noticed that Steve didn't park right in the center of the action like he usually does. He never parks so far away. Obviously they needed that opportunity for the perp, but it also gave us a slightly longer than usual banter between the guys.
* Oh, and as a bonus,... I'll bet neither Steve nor Danny ever forgets to lock the Camaro again!
* As soon as the perp put the gun in Steve's neck, I though of 3.11 when he and Catherine were carjacked, and thought to myself, 'Steve should have had that situation handled in a few seconds.'
.... well, darn. I can't get the rest of the video to play right now. Will have to continue my GB&U list later.

Loved the episode. A lot of one liners and good car time. Don't think Grace should be taught it is ok to hit someone unless you are being physically attacked. Did anyone else notice that when the kidnapper took Danny's phone he still had Gabby's name in it? Hope there is a future for them.
