A good episode, good twist which I never saw coming, but I'm really bummed that again, they killed off the nice "bad" guy. Would it hurt the story if they let the guy live every now and then? Especially Tommy - I really didn't want to see him die, although he'd have been miserable knowing he fell for the sad tale. But as satisfying as it was to have Kono tell Kelly that she did it all for nothing, it's still sadder that Tommy died for it. For the rest of it... Cheesy shot of AOL's abs but I'm sure it brought joy to his fans. Jerry is always fun - sort of like a big cuddly St. Bernard puppy who wrecks your house, but you can't stay mad at him. The whole Williams parents arc ... no surprises there, I'd figured it'd all end happily. The date was schmaltzy but cute. And Danno cooks pizza too? He's really been busy food preparation-wise since he lived with Steve and was the take-out king. Another Champ Box mystery. Whatever, it doens't grab me anymore. This is turning into spy central and meh for me.

Well I'm sure people would disagree with me but the ending sucks. The case of the day was nicely done with few logic lapse. And don't care about the champ box. They should've killed it long ago

I enjoyed this episode but found Danny and mom story boring. Hope it won't go past this. As for the champ box it needs to be addressed. I found Cath boring. Kono could have had all those lines. I believe Cath is gone after ep21.

Didn't understand the comment from Steve to Jerry that he likes to live alone. I thought Cath was living with him. The writers need to get their story straight. And what is going on with Cath and Steve? Is Michelle leaving the show? And what is this all about the champ box? Writers- answer some questions please. Don't bring up more puzzles to solve. Story of the week was good enough for me. Glad Danny's mom and dad are back together. Hopefully that is the end of that storyline.

I think that this makes it very clear - which it wasn't before - that Cath isn't living with Steve. They seem to have downplayed Steve and Cath's romance over the last few episodes, maybe in deference to her now being a team member - I know that some viewers were uncomfortable with the whole 'sleeping with the boss' thing.

I really enjoyed this episode...much more so than last weeks episode. The case of the week was quite good--and not so convoluted that I couldn't follow the twists and turns. I am, however, ready for the William's family saga to be OVER. The fact that Steve stated that he liked to live alone is probably more foreshadowing for the Steve/Cath story line. That last scene with the CIA guy just turned up more questions....now we have a grave in Cambodia. Any guesses on who is buried there? The real Doris McGarrett? A child that Doris and Wo Fat's father had before Doris ever met John McGarrett? Hmmmmm......and again more questions than answers. Hope this gets answered by the end of this season.

Two of my favorite things: Billy Joel music (and one of his best songs!) and H50!
I never had assumed that Steve and Cath were fully living together - we have seen her apartment before. I like Michelle and the character, I just wish if she was going to be around it was to more purpose - last night and the previous episode she seemed to appear for just a few moments, with some info - Kono could have done that all by herself. I'm sure it was to make room for all the extra guest stars. I've said before, I generally enjoy the guest actors but would prefer it not to be at the expense of screen time for our regular characters.
Excited that the Champ Box is back - but who carved the info on the corner and tried to cover it up? Mama? Papa? Shelburne spelled wrong?

As far as Steve and Cath living together , it seemed obvious when Cath was working with Billy. Billy dropped her off at Steve's house. Even Alex said that in an interview before the season began Steve and Cath were living together. Maybe that all changed when she started working with him but that was not made clear. The writers need to get things straight.

We see that a Ford Taurus can beat a Chevy Silverado. Even with the airbags disabled, Tommy braked the Taurus back into the Silverado and kicked off it's airbags. Does that disable the vehicle so it doesn't run? Couldn't Steve push down the airbag and continue the pursuit? Or couldn't he have pulled his gun and while Tommy was turning around shoot out a tire, or at Tommy Fa'aola? The truck was put on a flatbed truck to be taken back to the dealer for repair. Hadn't Steve had his dads Toolbox gone over real close before? Jerry comes in and sees writing under paint? They figured out the Longitude and Latitude pretty quickly. Also the Agent that Joe White directed Steve to seemed very worried. But when Steve goes over he needs to take Chin or Kono, instead of Catherine this time. Or is Grover his weapon of choice now, lol Will we have Joe White to come back for a LOST reunion with Chin and Jerry??? Also had (actor who played)Gary 'Aikapu(Tommy's boss) who was on LOST also on here. I didn't think about the daughter, Kelly Donovan being behind it until later. But for awhile I didn't figure Tommy was the guy that killed Russell the father. I figured it was his boss(Gary 'Aikapu) or Jay Cooper, or someone else and Tommy helped Kelly escape. I worried at end Tommy would be shot. Was it Duke that shot first? Steve was yelling no no. Why did Tommy bring the gun from the car? And to think Kelly thought she could get away with it. Kono gave her that look! Both Clare and Danny were a bit mysterious tonight. But nice that Danny was preparing for dinner at Silvio's. And his dad coming in to make up with Clara was nice. But yes Eddie should have called at least to ask Danny about her well being. Very cute having Gracie as the waitress. Last Eppy. she was MIA. Well Grover was MIA but Duke handled it ok. I hate to see Duke pushed back to number 2 in the Police force that works with 5-0. But maybe soon he can become a Detective or part of 5-0 like the original Duke did.

Haven't rewatched but I'm sure it wasn't Duke who shot first, I remember some blond guy doing it, actually it almost looked like an accident, then everyone got into it. Considering they killed off the last nice guy, for a change, Tommy could have lived, and then Kelly would have had no chance of having some lawyer get her off. For that matter, what can they charge her with? Is there any actual proof, with Tommy dead, that things didn't happen the way she says? So she gets no insurance money, but will she go free and get whatever money her dad saved for her education? I'd rather see her with no money at all and in jail for a long time.

Pretty good episode other than the Williams family issues. Dad is believable, but mom just doesn't work for me.
I hated to see Tommy killed off, but the scene added a lot of intensity to the show. Despite all of the killing in H50, I seldom feel the intense harshness and cold reality conveyed in the scene where Tommy was shot. I think they did a great job with this scene.
It was funny that the car shop owner had been calling Tommy's house all day when Tommy actually lived in a room upstairs of the shop:)
Jorge Garcia is great in short bursts, but I hope they don't overdo him. I also hope we still get our fix of Kamekona. I worry that Jerry and Kamekona fill the same niche.
Catherine is such a sterile character. These writers seem to struggle developing female characters. I'm not slamming Michelle B., just the character.

So she gets no insurance money, but will she go free and get whatever money her dad saved for her education? I'd rather see her with no money at all and in jail for a long time. There are at least the pictures that were faked that she used to lure Tommy into helping her. And the coincidence of the phone call a half hour before he showed up at the house to "rescue" her. And she looked up Tommy's criminal record a full month before she ever met him so that suggests she was looking for someone to dupe. There isn't a smoking gun (literally) because that belonged to her father ... and nothing like finger print evidence. But when you put the background check, the pictures, and the phone call together, it's pretty good circumstantial evidence that she chose Tommy as someone she could convince to help her escape and abuse life (because he'd had one himself) and then called him to come help her get away from her father. I don't remember what it was her friend said to Kono but I'm thinking there was something there that kinda clued her in that all was not what it seemed. BTW, just a little trivia about the girl who played Kelly's girlfriend who Kono interviewed at the school ... if she looked familiar it's because she played Chen Chi, the young girl in the closet (or small room) who was tied up and rescued by McG in what I think was the first episode (or was it the second?). She'd been brought into the U.S. with her family and separated from them and they were able to reunite her with her parents after they found all those people locked in ... I think it was the trailer of a semi.
