I've been thinking about the empty grave in Cambodia. I think whoever dug up the coffin and took whatever was in it left Steve some clues. The knife could possibly have fingerprints--although I doubt it--but, the hair left on the knife I think was left intentionally for Steve to find. So--who does the hair belong to? Hope we find out an answer this season....
I think the knife was Steve's. Didn't he just use it to pull the hair out of the coffin?
I'm confused about one thing. If the picture of Corey, Bradley and Alan was taken the night Corey died, who took the picture and who got it into one of Corey's toy rockets and then into the time capsule?
I kinda thought the picture was taken by ... oh, what's-her-name ... the murder victim. But not as evidence of a crime about to take place. She just took the picture as a scene of the times and put the film into the rocket and then into the time capsule as her contribution. I don't think they said she was involved in killing Corey but she had to know they were probably the last two people to see him. And they knew she'd taken picture and thought it would be revealed when the time capsule was opened so people would know they'd all been together that night.
I'm not really sure we know what her intent was about the picture. Was she going to use it to expose Bradley and Alan? She'd stayed quiet for 25 years; she didn't really need the picture to go to the cops and tell them the three had been together the night Corey disappeared. So she could have just been waiting for the time capsule to be opened so she could see that the picture didn't fall into someone else's hands.
A personal note ... it was very weird to hear them talking about Corey Johnson. My nephew's first/middle name is Corey Johnson (Johnson being a family name).
