I thought the CIA agent Edward Cobb said that Doris did not kill Wo-Fat's mom. It was agent Cobb.
Was he aiming for Wo-Fat's father and missed but hit the mother instead?
I have to wonder, after hearing that, what Wo Fat really knows about that situation. He has to know that his mother is dead … otherwise what would he think of her sudden disappearance? But does he know that his father may be alive or does he believe that he’s dead? During the scene in which Steve took the blood sample from WF and WF told him that Doris came to see him to apologize for killing his father, I know that WF was being facetious. But was he being facetious because he thinks his father is dead and thought it sounded like a plausible answer? Or was he being facetious because he knows that Steve believes WF’s father is dead and he thought Steve might buy that answer? If WF knows that his mother, instead of his father, was killed by Doris that totally changes any ideas I might have had about why WF and Doris didn’t each try to kill the other when they had the chance.
All very good questions, Katlyn. If McMommy really did apologize to Wo Fat over killing his father, then it could have been quite an enlightening moment for him to realize that she was the one who mistakenly killed his mother instead.
