Please keep San Diego County in your thoughts. The fires that are burning here are just devastating. Right now, I am alright; the fires are still a ways away from me -- although I'm thinking seriously of packing just in case. In fact, I think I would leave except that my 89-year-old aunt is near me and she won't leave; at least not yet. The wind keeps changing direction: first from the east and now from the west which is where the fires are burning -- the winds are now blowing the smoke from those fires into my town, which is in a valley and the mountains tend to trap the smoke. I had to evacuate once and I really don't want to do that again. So, please keep good thoughts for all of us.
