Thanks for the heads-up. I just placed my order. I like that we don't have to worry about the price going up ... because we're locked in if that happens ... but we get the benefit of it going down if that happens before its released.

Yes I have ordered my DVD as well can not wait to see the Gag reel and what the deleted scenes we have not seen. All the other stuff they put on as well.

It's high-octane action that never lets up through 22 thrilling episodes that will keep you on the edge of your seat!CBS Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Media Distribution have today announced that Hawaii Five-0 - The 4th Season will be available on DVD in a "wide" general release, starting September 16th. We're going out of our way to specify that this is a "wide" release in DVD format, because a Blu-ray release was NOT generally announced at the same time. However, in the past with this new version of the show, CBS/Paramount had with The 1st Season set released the DVD "widely" on a particular day, and on the same day made the Blu version available exclusively through one seller, and not via any others. Then later on (seven months down the road), the studio put out the BD set through general distribution, for customers who preferred to buy the title from their favorite retailer. That MAY POSSIBLY be what's happening here? We're unsure at this time, frankly. Amazon's pre-order listing for the title on DVD shows a $64.99 SRP list price, although right now they are discounting it down to just $42.96 for the set. Package art isn't finalized yet, so stay tuned for that!
