Another good episode ... are we on a roll? Dare I hope? - OK, I get the message. That's one hot girl. Now, could we possibly get back to the show? - I was wondering how the hell she was going to run in those shoes, but moot point since they just walked off calmly. - Danno the Brain should get together with the brainy ME trainee - FONG! Need I say more? - So Kono didn't wear the almost-kini? - Always thought Hawaiians were friendly - Chin and Grover make a good tag team - Seriously? The car got shot up like Swiss cheese, and it's still running? - Love sharpshooter Kono - Hostage situation - talk about bad cop and badder cop. That really twisted the redhead fake wife's panties. - the endless wave bit was a bit smarmy, but OK, I'll take it - so the bookstore isn't a counterfeit thing, but it's something. Youll be sorry you didn't listen to Jerry, Brawn. - I'm at a loss as to how Danno knew exactly where to dig? ?? The postcard just showed an island and palm trees. Did he have to stand "exactly" where the photo matched up to the island? Wouldn't there still be a big area, given distances, camera angles or whatever, bla bla bla? This is H50 - why do I even bother to wonder.... but is that it? It was buried where the photo was taken from?

Really disappointed with Peter Lenkov at the moment he lies very well when saying what is going to happen in season 5. 3 episodes in and not one word about Catherine unless I have missed it. Peter said Steve was going to be mourning and missing Cath nothing yet. Steve is a Seal they don't leave anyone behind or forget about them that is not Steve character.
I am not a Scott/Danny fan but I like this Danny in season 5 better than in season 2,3 and 4 I hope they keep him like this. I think Danny's Brother is going to be dead when they find him next week.
Jerry sorry I don't like him takes time away from the other for his stupid story.

It was a good episode...lots of action and a good story. I didn't like that Steve bought Kono a bikini--I mean really? She must own a gazillion of them. Danny is much better this season--a lot like Danny in season 1. No mention of Catherine is weird....I would have thought there would have been mention of her by now---if Steve is "mourning" her, as Peter Lenkov said he would, well, where's the beef? I hope the Jerry story is going somewhere.....he is not my favorite character and he has been getting a lot of screen time. It was good to see Fong--I would like to see more of him! I would also like to see more Danno/Gracie time..they have good on screen chemistry and are so cute together.
Can't think of anything else right now.....But--I did enjoy the ep.....the writing has been great this season so far--hope it continues.

This is why I don't trust Lenkov, he always lies and breaks his promise. I will give a detailed recap later

I'm willing to cut PL some slack on the issue with Catherine. Only three episodes into the season, he's been trying to establish a storyline for each of the characters. We already know that Catherine is gone and that Steve was reluctant to leave her as he'd just realized that he did love her. If we get a few more episodes in and she still hasn't been mentioned, I might start wondering about that. But I'm not ready to say that he's lying just because we haven't heard anything about her only a few episodes into the new season. Look how long it took to get back to the story of Danny's brother. And, no, I'm not expecting it to take that long to get back to Catherine but I don't think every episode has to have a brooding Steve, pining away for Catherine for us to remember her. Personally, I could take her or leave her but it's clear that she's going to be the elephant in the room to many fans until PL and the writers have Steve in therapy, grieving over his lost love and her choice not to come home with him. Seriously, that might be when I hit the fast-forward button.
As far as this episode, I enjoyed the crime within a crime. There was a point where I had to rewind to listen again when Grover called in after they raided the house and somehow none of them managed to hit a tire on the fleeing car. I thought he'd lost his job with HPD but when he called in, he identified himself as "Captain Grover." I understand that Five-0 is run by Steve and he can hire who he wants ... but why is he still Captain Grover? Chin didn't have a rank until he was reinstated by HPD. Grover was no longer a part of HPD, so it's unusual that he'd still have the rank.

I'm not reading the episode spoilers (decided a few years ago I like the suspense during the live episode) - perhaps the mention of Cath was edited out of the final version of the episode? I have faith that it will come up in due time, no need to think that PL was lying or misleading us. Can't wait to see where the Danno storyline is going to end up.

*Three woman robs a tour bus in the middle of a busy street of Honolulu reminds me of season seven of the Original Series called "A Woman's Work Is With A Gun" except they did it in a remote area. I would love to recap that episode but this is a reboot board, so we talk about "The Last Break" *One of the woman tries to steal a cell phone from Nathan Wagner who is a president of a security firm specializing in encryption, network administration and some type of high tech firewall, struggles with her, ends up with a bullet in the chest and cells to the street level, much to the shooter's shock. *No one on the streets notice the bus being robbed despite people yelling and the woman flashing guns. After they left no one tries to stop them *Vanessa Hensen who was sitting besides Nathan had a gun at him and was going to rob him but the girls beat her to it. How did she knows his name was not revealed. Hensen pretended to be his wife *What did Hensen used on Nathen's thumb? It looks like ink but what was it? Why could not she cut off his thumb? *While struggling with Nathan the girl left behind a surf wax and sand in the back of his shirt. Fong analyst it and the wigs and report it to Kono. Fong tells Kono that the type of sand is found at the Diamond Head area *Steve suggested Kono go undercover as she is the least visible cop but didn't she made on the papers about the corruption she was involved in three years ago? *Grover made a good suggestion to use the GPS to the stolen cell phone to track the girls was never followed up. *While waiting for the waves, Kono swims to where the three girls are and started asking questions, pissing them off. They were not in a good mood, so when Kono points out a bruise on one of the girls cheek they found out she was a cop and tries to swim away. So much for her being undercover so Kono has to surf-chase them, she manage to catch Leah while the other two escape *Leah was very uncooperative yet the Five-O somehow find out about the bellhop cousin who was marking on the clothes of the intended victim for the girls to track down. They manage to go to thier hangout and already Hensen and her goons are there. Hensen escapes to the car via drivers side and tells the unseen person to go. The Five-O shoots after them but no one thought of shooting the tires *After Leah learns that her friends are in serious danger decided to tell them that the girls fled to a safe house in Waimanalo owned by one of thier grandparents. Hensen manage to track them down, how did she even know about this hangout and the previous one was never revealed so she shoots Kailani in the stomach and demands to know where the cell phone is while the other girl tries to flee. However the Five-O arrives just in time to arrest Hensen and takes the girls in custody *Kailani manage to survive the gunshot wound so as the girls were being taken away, Kono delivers a badly-written narration. *Jerry suspect that that the bookstore owner of counterfeiting kept watches him. He tries to get McGarrett to believe him however he was not convinced. So Jerry left poutly. However McGarrett enlist the help from a secret service that gave the bookstore owner a clean bill of health. Jerry does not believe it so he enlist Kamekona to help him by giving a speech about his dad who complians about what he saw in his job and was paid to shut him up. Kamekona decided to help him so he walks in a book store with a microphone hidden in a book and manage to get the store owner to buy it *Danny meets with Reyes and was told again that he has his brother and has until monday to find 18 million dollers that he hid. Every time Danny meets him he would punch him in the stomach. After the entire Hensen/three robbers case, Danny decided to find the 18 Million dollers based on the postcard Matt sent him (which strangely Reyes gave it to Danny) he dugs many holes under the palm trees which reminds me of "It's a Mad Mad Mad World". He manage to find it in one of the holes
Over well, what a nice episode

I am looking forward to seeing more of Chin and Kono flash back when she started surfing. With Steve I just expecting him just to mention Cath may be to Danny that he is either still talking or lost touch with her while they were in the car did not have to be a big scene maybe a couple of lines. I think now this may happine in episode 5.05
