Theories for The Second Half of season 5. I love to read what everyone thinks what is going to happen in the second half of season 5 and will there be a Cliffhanger.
So we have only one more episode to see before Christmas and a lot has happened in the first nine episodes of season 5. It has been a slow start but the last 2 have been great. From the spoilers we have been getting I think we are going to get some good stories as there are 16 episodes left to see after Christmas.
So what dose everyone think will happen to all the cast.
Steve
Will Wo Fat father come looking for Steve and who will play him
Will Steve get PTSD
The Box that Leonard give Steve what's the story there.
Joe what trouble for Steve will he bring and news on Doris
Ellie Clayton will that be just friends or romance
Danny
Amber and Danny what will happen in this relationship
We have not seen much of Grace so far
Will Danny has a romance with Dr Mindy Shaw
Danny killing Marco Reyes what is going to happen.
Chin
Hope we get some more of Chin in the second half of the season
The money he got from his brother in law Gabriel.
Kono
Not much of Kono so we need more of her in the second half
Adam I hope there is a twist because at the moment he is very boring as just Kono boyfriend. Hope he is still in charge of his dads business and he turns out bad and Kono has to kill him that would be a good twist.
Grover
I hope we get some story lines about him.

There will be an episode focusing on Kono (+ flashbacks). There will also be an episode totally focused on Danny, and the consequences of Columbia. Moreover, the episode associated with the original television series. Delano brother returns. Returns a thread Gabriel and money. Joe also returns, and probably will return a thread Doris.

I have a feeling that this will be the cliffhanger that ends season five. 2. There's got to be some news on Doris and hopefully Christine Lahti can come back with Terry O'Quinn. 3. I'm neutral on this but God help the woman if she is Steve's new love interest because the twitter trolls won't like that one bit. Danny I predict that some acquaintances of Marco Reyes will try to even the score with Danny. This could also be part of the cliffhanger too. Chin Eventually this will have to be dealt with. This could cost him losing his badge for awhile. Kono Maybe she's been too wrapped up in her new baby to really have any quality screen time. As for Adam I don't think we have seen the last of him one way or the other. Grover I agree. I'd like more focus on him too. |

What I want to see happen and what will probably happen are two different things. It doesn't take much for me to go into total stress mode regarding this show so I prefer milder storylines and cliffhangers. However, I never get my wish, and yet, I keep coming back. I would love to end on a beautiful, positive note like say a beach wedding for Kono and Adam and a mild cliffhanger would be some kind of communication with Steve about his mother and Wo Fat's father. Alex always does a great job giving his fans a face full of angst for the last scene of the finale. This season should end that way, also.
They should deal with Chin taking that money for Danno in March and Danno's consequences for killing his brother's murderer in April. They need to have 2 1/2 months of finale type episodes to lift the ratings and bring in more fans.
What I don't want is a finale like a year or two ago (I can't remember which season... I've slept a few times since then) where every character's storyline ended in a huge cliffhanger. That was too much for me! I like only one stressful situation happening at a time. I wonder if that's why this last episode just tore me up... the one with the serial arsonist and Danno and Amber in danger. Both storylines had me a nervous wreck. I know it's these kinds of episodes that bring more interest to the show so bring it on, writers. I can handle it.
Oh, wait! I forgot about Joe. Steve's keeping an eye on him so something has to happen there, too. Man! I think the writers are building up for an atom bomb to go off. Oh Boy! Oh Boy! I give up. There's no way I can keep up with all this. I'm going to sit back and enjoy the adrenaline ride we are always on over the next couple months.

The only thing I want for a season ender is some kind of cliffhanger. I know by the time it airs, we've always known if it was renewed and I hope this season will be no exception. If it's renewed, PL has said he'll write to a cliffhanger. I'd guess that it's got to be something to do with Doris. But we haven't heard anything about Christine Lahti coming back. I don't want it to be just a celebration for Kono and Adam because while I want to see them happy, I also want to see something unexpected happen. I don't think they can marry off another member of the core four only to kill off the spouse. So I do want to see a nice, happy wedding but I don't want that to be all because PL also said if it's not being renewed, he would write it as a series ending. A wedding would fit that perfectly. |

I am hoping if Five 0 is renewed we have a great and thrilling and something unexpected to happen so everyone will be talking about it in the summer waiting for season 6 to start. I think it might be about Danny or Chin that might be in trouble. I only want Kono and Adams Wedding for the final if Five 0 not renewed because that would be a nice ending every one happy. We will just have to wait and see.

I hope that will be next season. I can not imagine another option. I hope that the March, CBS will announce that it will be 6 season. As this does not happen, the final decision will be announced in May. After New Year's Hawaii Five-0 achieved very good results in the audience, I hope that it will convince CBS to order 6 season.
From Peter Lenkov (January 1):
As you are writing the end of the season, are you looking at it as the end of the series or are you building up to a cliffhanger?
I’m hoping it’s not the end. If it is the end, I’ll write to the end, but I’m writing to a cliffhanger. My hope is that we come back and we get to tell more stories. Look, I think we’re doing a good job, even with audiences dwindling the way they are these days; we still have a very strong live audience. That’s always a good thing. In my mind, right now, the story that I’m building for the finale, which is very loose in my head, is a cliffhanger.
Can you say who is involved in the cliffhanger?
How about everybody? How about I tell you it affects everybody? I can’t say any more.

I would think that by now, Peter Lenkov would know if there is going to be a season 6...they are already filming episode 21 or 22...I don't know when the renewal announcements are made--it seems it is different every year. While having Kono and Adam's wedding would make a nice season ending...I don't know if it would make a satisfying series ending. Granted, everyone would be happy, but so many things haven't been addressed....Steve's PTSD, Wo Fat's Father, Steve's Mom, what is in the box that Leonard gave Steve at Aunt Deb's wedding. Oh well---time will tell.

A year ago, it was March 13, and two years ago, it was March 27. Now that I think will be in mid-March. |
