Already I have a feeling that this is going to be a good one because Daniel Baldwin is coming back. I hope they don't kill him off.

Not bad, not horribly exciting, but then I was half asleep while watching - not because it bored me but because I was tired. - I've asked before and I'll ask again, will we ever find out why WO Fat shot the Jonas kid character? Have hopes we'll find out because otherwise, why bring it up again? - Like the role reversal - she's the surgeon, and he takes care of the kids. - Cute kid, but grandpa's probably an ax murderer - .... or, a shooter. You know, I was half joking when I wrote that bit about the ax murderer. - Uncle Steve and Monkey niece are always fun - Poor Steve. He finally gets the car running and someone steals it. Then again, he did nearly outrun it so maybe it still needs work. Hope he gets it back. - 5-0 has history with a guy we've never seen before? - Oh, got it. Delano's brother because he's Billy's brother. They're not done with that storyline yet? Second mean brother to pop up (Malia's was first - can we expect Wo Fat's mean brother next?). - Chin gets the best line - if he only has a minute to live, give us 5 minutes with him. I'm sure they'll get lots of moments alone, so Delano can stir up trouble for Chin, like he already isn't in trouble with IA. - Kai's back? Is he like a regular peripheral now? Found him cute at first, creepy with the second appearance, don't know why. And last episode.... telling Kono she's missed her chance.... he's too cocky for a nerdy guy. Hope there's no creepy stalker story brewing up. - Oh Steve, your poor baby. - hey, Steve the Science Guy is back and cooking up something neat. - Danno and Steve sniping at each other is not fun. Don't like. Are we expecting trouble here? - Grandpas are supposed to be nice people, not horrible men who grew up to be horrible old men. Feel bad for the cute kid, though. - Steve's adopting a kid. Sweet ending.

Not bad, not horribly exciting, but then I was half asleep while watching - not because it bored me but because I was tired. - I've asked before and I'll ask again, will we ever find out why WO Fat shot the Jonas kid character? Have hopes we'll find out because otherwise, why bring it up again? - 5-0 has history with a guy we've never seen before? - Oh, got it. Delano's brother because he's Billy's brother. They're not done with that storyline yet? Second mean brother to pop up (Malia's was first - can we expect Wo Fat's mean brother next?). I think that Wo Fat shot the Jonas kid for a really simple reason. He wanted to send a message to Steve that they needed to talk. Why he couldn't just pick up the phone and call him, I don't know. Maybe he thought Grover's daughter would be an implied message that he didn't intend any harm to Steve. But, then, we never saw Steve respond to that so Wo Fat did, ultimately, take the matter into his own hands and kidnap and torture Steve to try to have that talk with him. But, honestly, I don't think there's any other reason to it than he wanted to use Samantha to get a message to Steve in a way that it couldn't be traced. And I kinda think it was brought up to have something for Grover and Chin to talk about ... really. I don't think it has a future purpose except that Samantha has nightmares about it. And we have actually seen Paul Delano before. He was the one who was responsible for kidnapping Chin in the middle of the night and putting him in Halawa. I think he was walking out of a hotel or an office building or something of that nature because I remember a scene where they approach him and tell him to get down on his knees. And I think Danny takes a swing at him. (But that last part might be a memory from another similar scene.) So ... it was nice to see Gracie again and she was there in the beginning and the end! I'm wondering if we'll see the kid who stole the car again. We got a "ripped from the headlines" story which was, no doubt, inspired by actual facts except that the school was in Florida and the bodies found were about 14 times the number of bodies found in this episode. I liked Max's almost reverent way of dealing with the bodies. I have to admit that almost as soon as I saw the grandfather (and knowing the episode was about the surgeon being killed), I pegged him as the one who did it. There was no point to introducing those two characters unless the grandfather had a prominent role in the episode. I figured he had to be the killer. It didn't take away from the enjoyment of the episode. So it was a little predictable. It was still kind of a satisfying look at what really was a pretty easy case for 5-0 ... but it was nice to just get to see all of them working individually and together ... and coming together in the end.

It was a good episode...I really enjoyed it. Lots of warm fuzzy at the end. And everyone was in the story. No mention was made about Danny being MIA last week. Again....a 10 second throw away line would solve the whole issue.

A good episode. I liked the softer Steve with the kid and helping him out. Maybe Delano and Chin are going to tangle again?

Good episode
Loved uncle Steve helping Grace with her physical exam was cute Love Chin and Grover little talk about Samantha nightmares with Wo Fat Liked the idea that Steve is going to keep his eye on Nahela. Peter said he will be back in another episode Poor Chin Dalana is going to stir up more trouble Steve the Science guy is back. What I don't like is Danny sniping and being mean to Steve all the time not fun anymore.

I loved this episode-thought it was quintessential H50.....story line zig zagged yet was still able to incorporate a lot of history and continuity. Liked all the Ohana moments and there were many....interspaced with some humor....frankly though I agree with Mandyblue-I thought Danno was a little harsh with Steve but we still got an "I love you babe" at the end so that made up for it a bit. All members got screen time and it was just emotional, yet enjoyable to watch.....

Well Mandyblue and binda23 I can see your point of view when you noted that Danno was very harsh on Steve when he went to try and catch up to the person that stole his car.
Was it harsh? Maybe. But try to see Danno's point of view. Steve left a young (is she 11 or 12 now?) girl alone on a street. Grace is tall and thin and a strong person would easily over power her and kidnap her. Child abduction is all over. I'm sure that's what he was mostly upset about. What could have happened and not what actually did happen.

Yeah, Danny mentioned she was 12 ... and I wondered if they were planning to have something in a future episode about her becoming a teenager because Teilor is now 13. But I agree ... I think Danny's rant was really all about Grace being left on a street corner, apparently at least a mile away from wherever she would normally have been. Regardless of what Danny called the car, I think his concern was for Grace and with all the cases they've had involving children, I can see why he was written the way he was.

Actually it's not only this episode that I am fed up with Danny. It started in season 4 sniping and being mean to Steve about everything he loved like his family or his dads car. Danny has no respect for Steve and I wish Steve would just punch him in the face. I now what Steve to have Grover, Chin or Kono to be his partner they have more respect for Steve. So this is not just about Grace.
