According to imdb, the actress was actually born in 1992 so they really added quite a few years to her age either way. Actress was born in 1992, but the episode revealed that the character is from 1984 (this year 31), so I wonder why Danny said in episode 4x19, that is 10 years older. So either Amber lied on the age during Season 4, or an error writers. There is another option that Danny is 40 years old (this year 41).. Although not revealed in the series in which Danny is age, but it seemed to me that he might be 37/38 years now (this year 38/39). Steve is probably 37 years (this year 38). Did you notice that it also says her drivers license was issued in 2014 ... when she was already in Hawaii? Does anyone know if NY allows renewal of licenses by mail? Some states do depending upon driving records but curious if NY does ... and, if not, how did she renew it?

I guess there is a lack of older actresses right now, and that's why they had to get a 23-year-old who looks about 20, to play a 31-year-old (who started off as a 27+/- year-old). And maybe the idea of Danno dating someone so much younger just didn't go over very well so they made her older now (remembering some of the stuff I read in Twitter around the time the casting announcement was made, it really didn't go over well).
Re. Grover's shorts, I guess he wears them to distract the opposition.

Hello! I know I haven't been around for a really, really long time, and I'm so sorry for that. I still don't know how much time I can devote to my favorite subject, but I would like to try and keep up with you all again. I missed you all. I know I will never get caught up on all of your different opinions and views on certain subjects so you might need to fill me in along the way. I really enjoyed reading your comments about the latest episode. I'm so happy to see that some of you from the first years are still here and commenting the same way. So entertaining and sincere! I don't know where to start because I have so much in my head that I have wanted to talk to you all about over the last couple seasons. I suppose it will come out one thought at a time.
I love the beautiful scenes of the islands and the ocean. I think they get prettier every season. Talking about beauty, can I just say that for the first time golf became very interesting. I could not take my eyes off the screen. Funny thing... I don't think it had anything to do with that little white ball and where it landed, but instead the player attached to the long club. And just so there's no confusion here, I'm not referring to the man wearing the flowers, although he definitely added to the enjoyment. I do enjoy the occasional Jerry and Grover, but I wish with all of my heart that they would have just stuck with the original 4 team members like season 1. In my opinion, season 1 was the best and had the best ratings. I enjoy all the guest stars. Malina K. was exceptional. When she was crying and begging Steve to let her stay on the case, I was actually getting frustrated with Steve (can you believe that... me, getting frustrated with Steve) for not understanding and making her beg for the right to be there. Steve, of all people, should have understood immediately, but this is the emotional side of me talking (thanks to Malina K. and her unbelievable acting). The practical side of me says that Steve handled it perfectly. He had to show her that he was boss and in control, especially after the first impression she made on the team.
I know you have all probably discussed this, but if you don't mind a repeat or lead me to where the discussion took place... I would like to know what you all think of the murders lately. I know this show is considered more for adults than children, but this adult really struggled with the murder in this episode. I know it makes for good tv, but I could've done without seeing so much of the actual act of murdering those people. Man, that got me!
I'm actually enjoying the storyline of Danno and Amber/Melissa. She helps him be the man that he wants to be. It seems like he is willing to work to overcome his hangups from previous relationships for her. He is her champion, and I like that for Danno. He's in a good place right now and that makes me happy for him. I'm happy about Kono and Adam getting married just as long as they don't kill off Adam as soon as they tie the knot. That is one storyline that we do NOT need to relive. We definitely need more character and storylines for our Chin Ho Kelly. Come on, writers! We are being greatly deprived here.
Well, I definitely have more to say on these topics, but I need to go. So, we'll try and get back later.

Hi Scarlarose!! Good to hear from you again!
Yes--this past weeks murders were sort of gruesome...especially that the arsonist watched his victims die. I think one of my worst nightmares is being caught in a burning building, unable to get out. I'm guessing that is on everyone's list of scary nightmares....
I'm still not sure if I like the Amber/Melissa character....it will be interesting to see where they take the relationship now that her past is out in the open and her ex is dead.
I am guessing that the Kono and Adam wedding will happen in the last episode of the season--hoping they don't kill off Adam too soon....And yes--we need more Chin story lines!!!

Hello Blondie & Mandy! Thank you for keeping this forum going. I'm so sorry I haven't been here. I missed you, too. Yes, Blondie, I'm still a HUGE fan of our Alex, and I can't wait to get caught up with everything that's been happening with him on and off screen. Feel free to overload me with anything Alex.

I like the writers shaking things up a bit and making Danno the one in danger instead of Steve. I liked everything about that whole sequence except for one thing... I wanted Steve to go to Danno after he got the doctor's update rather than hugging Amber. I love the way Alex and Scott play out those scenes when they get to show their feelings/emotions for each other. They really know how to bring out the brotherly love.

I noticed in this episode, that Melissa was born in 1984, and in 4x19 Danny said that he is 10 years older than Amber. Danny is now probably 38/39 years, so 7/8 years older. So either she lied on the age, or an error writers. According to imdb, the actress was actually born in 1992 so they really added quite a few years to her age either way. Would have been so much easier to just use an actress who is the right age for her character and didn't make Danny look like a cradle-robber.
