Since I don't care for the whole Amber♥Danno storyline I was prepared to hate at least half of the episode. But someone is doing something right this season, because I was glued to my seat on this one. - the golf thing was lost on me because I think golf is a big yawn. But all in all, the whole thing turned out to be pretty funny and I enjoyed it. Best part? Grover's shorts. - the Amber-Danno-abusive ex thing, predictable, but pretty well done, and I admit to cheering when she ran the ex over. Only wish she hadn't been in a hurry, so she could have backed up and ran him over again. - The arsonist. One of the best and creepiest stories. Good casting choice too. - Loved toughass agent Kathy. - Gee Steve, you don't think your going after Hesse and Wo Fat was a teeny bit personal? - Loved the "burn in hell" line, and I hoped he'd live in this earthly hell for a really long time. Feel cheated that he found a way out.

Great episode loved it. I have to say the second half of season 5 is a lot better than the first half. Loved the last 3 episodes.
Not a Golf fan but I Loved Steve and Grover playing Golf together so funny. They have great chemistry together they should team up more together I love their friendship. I liked Michelle Wie giving Steve lessons on how to play.
The crime story was good this week loved having Melina Kanakaredes on the show. I would not mind if she joined the team. We need more Chin in episodes. Loved how Grover's daughter Samantha saying uncle Steve.
I love Danny and Amber together they have good chemistry. I hope Amber stays around for Danny and not leave after what happed with her ex husband.
The best part of this episode was NO Jerry

We need more Chin in episodes. His was less in this episode because he was over in the mainland in Atalanta and various other places doing reshoots for Insurgent and preparing his directorial debut for 5.17 and it was also Christmas time this was filmed.

I don't just mean about last nights episode but all episodes of Five 0. I see a pattern forming we either get a lot of Chin and little of Kono or other way round lot of Kono little of Chin. This is all because of Jerry.

I enjoyed this episode. The arsonist plot was unique for this show and well done. Super creepy fellow. It's nice to see that they still have some original ideas.
I agree about the need for more Chin and Kono. I miss them out on the street together. I like Jerry, but a little goes a long way.

Agree with you all..great episode... Loved Steve/Grover stuff, needed more Chin/Kono, and glad we got a break from Jerry. I have to admit that I thought this would be the end of Amber/Melissa to pave the way for the Danny/new ME romance so I wonder how that will transition now. Next week looks awesome and hope that Danny isn't too whiny....

I didn't expect Steve to adhere to the required golfing dresscode of 100% polyester. Don't think Grover's shorts are required golf attire either, are they? The arson guy was creepy. Randy C is a scary-looking guy to begin with, and he played the part so well. Only other really creepy characters I could put up next to him were Lee Merriwether and her TV son in that Halloween episode from way back when. Yeah, termites are a better alternative, Blondie. One beef (amongst others) with Amber Melissa - no woman who's escaped that kind of abuse is going to dress and act flirty around men, the way she did when she first met Danno. Maybe after a couple of years when she's sure the abusive ex isn't going to find her. But being as young as she is, there can't be that many years in between. Or is it that Danno just inspires instant confidence and "safeness" in women?

Did anyone else think it was even a little strange that the ATF agent's name was Kathy? I mean ... Cath/Catherine ... Kathy ... isn't it a bit soon to be sorta recycling that name?

I noticed in this episode, that Melissa was born in 1984, and in 4x19 Danny said that he is 10 years older than Amber. Danny is now probably 38/39 years, so 7/8 years older. So either she lied on the age, or an error writers.

Actress was born in 1992, but the episode revealed that the character is from 1984 (this year 31), so I wonder why Danny said in episode 4x19, that is 10 years older. So either Amber lied on the age during Season 4, or an error writers. There is another option that Danny is 40 years old (this year 41).. Although not revealed in the series in which Danny is age, but it seemed to me that he might be 37/38 years now (this year 38/39). Steve is probably 37 years (this year 38).
