I thought it would be a better audience, especially since it was a replay Shark Tank.. I hope that next week will be better.

They still got the highest number of Friday night viewers. And if you look at the 25-54 age group they were number one in that area. I know that traditionally 18-49 is the demographic they look at but why advertisers still think that's the age group that spends the most money is confusing to me. All over, they talk about 50 being the new 40 so you'd think that they'd understand that people don't stop spending money (or even stop being the one who decides what to spend the money on) when they hit 50. When the Nielson ratings first started, it wasn't as common to think that you HAD to go to college to get a good job so it made sense that 18 year olds were just hitting the workforce in larger numbers and had money to spend. But now with more 18 year olds going off to college, you'd think they'd want to look at a higher age demographic (i.e., people who are now out of college and have hit the workforce). Maybe that's why Nielson is reporting on different age groups than that single demographic. H5-0 has always done better in that slightly higher demographic than they've done in the traditional one.
