Michael Imperioli Returns as Odell Martin
"Kahania" – McGarrett and Odell come under siege in Odell's barbershop when they try to protect a young man who is being hunted down by a gang. Also, Jerry is wrongfully accused of committing a series of home invasions, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, March 13 (9:00-10:00, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Michael Imperioli returns.

Different episode with McG in full force.
I was so focused on how they were going to get out alive that I forgot there's always a twist to watch out for so when the truth came out about the kid, I was surprised.
Max as an Ebay magnate - no, tournament gambling wizard - no, philanthropist was fun.
Final scene was too sad for words.

I loved the episode really good
I like Michael Imperioli and his character Odell. Alex and Michael had some good chemistry together would love to see Michael come back as a recurring character on the show.
Loved the scene with Odell giving Steve a shave could watch that all day.
I loved how Steve wanted to protect Aaron at all cost at the beginning before we all know what he did.
Loved seeing Steve take charge of the situation, where Odell was afraid and didn't how to handle it.
The scene in the blue room was well done where Steve had a hard time telling a father that his son was dead even though his son was evil. The twist surprised with what Aaron turned out to be evil.
Sad ending and Alex knocked it out of the park with his acting and breaking down and showing his emotions with all the kid pic.
Loved how they talked about past episodes with Grover telling Chin about Gabriel coming back and wanting something in return. Steve talking to Odell about his mother.

This was a great episode! The last scene is heartbreaking... Alex is an outstanding actor! Wow!

Have only watched the episode once. Loved it. There is good chemistry between Steve and Odell. Would love to see Odell again as a recurring character. Alex deserves an award for the ending. I admit there were tears in my eyes. Hopefully there is a season 6. I'm not ready for H50 to end any time soon.

I found it interesting that Steve wasn't in any scenes with the rest of the team. (Unless I have total amnesia and am not remembering something). The Jerry story line was funny and Jerry's puppy dog face cute. I can only take so much of Jerry in any episode. Hoping the rest of the season is team centric eps.....I may have more later. I am on the road and don't have access while driving.

LOL. I was just going to ask if anyone had noticed that on the wall and, of course, I wasn't the only one to see it. I actually did two rewinds to be sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. I googled "Core Four Hawaii" (because when I just googled "Core Four" I got a bunch of hits about the New York Yankees) and I got a LOT of pics of our core four ... clearly the phrase is known as much for the 5-0 core four as it is for the actual C4 meaning. But that sure was interesting placement. |
