- Blimey, it's Jack Sparrow's lesser-known cousin - rip off Disney much? - Boy, that was one long wedding - about 3 months' worth? - Shake it Max!!! - Danno-Steve dance. Priceless. Wonder if it was scripted or improptu? - He's gorgeous and he cooks, too. Can Adam be any more perfect? - Not quite the honeymoon they had planned.... - How many of us remember beta? - Now I have this image of Cyrano Danno with a long nose in my brain. - Steve's gonna ask Cath to marry him? I didn't know Michelle Borth was leaving the show... - Gabriel is one lousy houseguest. - Michael Myers ripoff now - Local ripoff version of Raiders of the Lost Ark, starring Indy's lesser-known cousin, Hawaii Jones - Kono finds out that cheap dentistry is not the way to go - NEVER leave Kono alone to her own devices. She'll use yours to get you - I figured Konad would be a brief marriage, but this is ridiculous, even by H50 standards - Simon says put the damn machinegun down, crazy pirate lady! - So with all the pirate remodelling, the family might as well install an indoor swmming pool in that giganto hole in the floor - Aladdin ripoff!
Good show, pretty enjoyable, loved the Pirates ripoffparody

Wasn't home last night to watch life. Not available OnDemand yet. CBS won't let me watch and only give me a 'disable ad blocker' notice, which I did, but still can't watch. Have to wait until later. Bummer.

- Steve's gonna ask Cath to marry him? I didn't know Michelle Borth was leaving the show..
It brought me back to fourth grade...he's going to drop the ring on her desk when she's not looking and she'll say no. There is a TV god...I'm on my knees. I'm gonna go ahead and guess... Steve is all ready to propose, then learns about a great career opportunity Catherine has, so at the last minute he does not propose, that way she can be free to leave Hawai'i and take said great job offer having never learned of his intentions. That will mean no proposal, Catherine leaves, Steve's heart is broken yet he comes out looking like the good guy in the scenario.

Good episode
Loved the wedding reception Max so funny dancing. Loved seeing Steve so happy and smiling with Catherine and what a kiss. Loved all their scene together. I really hope Cath say's YES to Steve Loved the carguments and banter through out the episode with Steve and Danny Gabriel being very evil and nasty to Kono and Adam. All 4 of them in the jungle looking for the gold which turned out no gold Steve fight with the girl. The Pirates at the beginning were good as well

I really don't think he'll end up proposing. I think it's all a big tease. Why would Steve be taking another woman on an "adventurous first date" if he proposed and Cath said 'yes'?

I'd write it a little differently...but this is good. A little bit of something for everybody...she could pop out of the trees again in a future episode. You're right, Blondie-Lana, it would kinda work for everyone. Well, everyone but Steve, but he seems to thrive on angst, so let's give him some. It's better than her being killed off, 'cause that would just be over the top. And true, she could be in a future episode down or even the series finale some day - possibly helping him as she used to - but that's okay, 'cause even a cactus needs a little water now and then (inside joke for Blondie).

The one thing I did not like is when the boys were in the jungle and Danny suddenly told Chin and Grover that Steve was going to ask Cath to marry him. Now Danny has backed Steve in the corner and everyone knows he is going to ask Cath. If that dose not happen for some reason how will that effect Steve he will feel Humiliated, Hurt, Angry and embarrassed. Steve should not have told Danny until he had asked Cath.

Here is my opinions for 6.01
THE 'GOOD' * Adam can cook
* Kono loves Adam even thought he no longer has his own personal chef
* Adam willing to tell Gabriel 'no', just because of Kono's ever-so-slight shake of her head.
* "Quiche? Tastes like eggs to me."
* Kono is still kick-ass, just with a wedding ring.
* Kept wondering when Five-0 was going to find out something was wrong and rescue them, but now I'm kinda glad they didn't.
* Kono using the perps weapon against him
* Chin telling about Gabriel, am glad he didn't try to keep it a secret
* Catherine speaking up, "... it's Kono & Adam's day"
* Catherine telling Steve, "It's about time."
* Hearing Steve admit he is capable of feelings
* Danny admitting he is happy
* Steve insisting he will be the one to pick out their tuxes
* Max can dance!
* Bromace dance... too funny --- and did anyone notice that both guys tried to take the lead (putting their arms low), which Steve lost, having to settle for placing his left hand on Danny's upper arm? The looks on both their faces was great.
* All the ohana at the wedding and reception
* Jerry's explanation of beta. Very accurate, by the way.
* Steve vs. Pirate Lady -- in most scenarios it's written where any woman that gets taken down is done so by another woman.
THE 'BAD' * Attention wardrobe department; this wedding dress is missing a bustle!
* The aforementioned bustle made watching Kono & Adam dance rather dull. After recently learning how to do a double-layer, single, over-bustle for my own daughter's wedding, it's really not that hard. And most any bride would not appreciate having all that excess fabric wrapped around her ankles as she tries to dance at her own wedding reception. I'd much rather have seen K&A do a classy dance, perhaps a waltz or something like that, something actually worth their guests watching, rather than to just hold the improper dance form the did and barely sway in a circle.
* Mentioning a honeymoon destination wold have been good to include. Hard to come up with where anyone living on Hawai'i would go for a honeymoon, but they could have come up with something. Adam still owns hotels around the world, for goodness sake! Although, in this case, obviously they would have missed their flight.
* Danny telling Chin and Grover that Steve plans on proposing to Catherine. Dude! Where is your mouth censor?! Steve's pissed-off look at Danny was well earned that time.
THE 'MEDIOCRE' * The crime of the week. It was okay, but not season premiere worthy.
* All the move rip-offs that Danno's Dani previously mentioned... can anyone say 'Rainman'?
* Kono thought enough to change out of her shorts and put on pants and boots, even grab her gun, but why not her badge, too? Surely her badge would be in the safe with her gun, no? Then her shouting "Five-0!" when she saw Gabriel in the bank would have been better than her just yelling at people to get down. Leaving them to wonder if she was a bad guy, too. She's lucky the bank's security officer didn't shoot her.

Best scene in the episode: This really is a funny scene. Did anyone else notice how both Steve and Danny try to take the lead? Both guys attempt to put their arm low. Just watch Steve's left arm as he attempts to place his hand at Danny's waist, but fails because Danny refuses to move his own arm, forcing Steve to place his hand on Danny's upper arm. This puts a smirk on Danny's face and an annoyed look on Steve's. Or perhaps it could be said that this puts a smirk on Scott's face and an annoyed look on Alex's, as I read somewhere that this impromptu scene was just them goofing off at rehearsal. Either way, it's funny.

Catching up on the episode. Loved that dancing Steve and Danny glad it wasn't cut . Max has some great moves. The crime to me was a filler it was the arcs that were being set up. Cath didn't have a lot to do.
