- I never get over how gorgeous Hawaii is
- ugh, Halloween episode is always gross. Enough with the body parts already!
- must admit I didn't catch Dangerous Liaisons either
- yay, Monkey is finally turning rebellious and I get to enjoy Daddy Danno freaking out
- what WOULD you steal at a blood bank, Chin?
- Danno rehearsing an important speech again
- I really thought Kono and Chin ("Koin"?) missed the "help me" look
- I admit to laughing at Grover's cop humour - so how come Eric isn't allowed to make jokes?
- wild pig crossing - only in Hawaii
- nobody messes with Kono, big bad guy
- cute ending with Charlie

I don't usually like these kind of episodes but did this time. Loved Steve and Max sharing more screen time and especially when Steve said to Max his mother is in the heart not the file. That went home to me as that is where my mum is. I like the continuity back to season 2

Great episode. I like so far all Halloween episodes in H50, this time was the same. Episode certainly gained a lot with two storylines in the episode, or even three as we add storyline of Danny with Grace and Charlie. Episode was very much in the style of Halloween, we had a storyline related to Dr. Frankenstein and the other storyline a little realted with vampires.  Nice that writers continues since the second season, that every year in Halloween episodes Max wear the outfit from the films with Keanu Reeves. It's cool, too, that when was storyline with a serial killer, they the mentioned Max's mother, and I very like the scenes Max with Steve. Besides, I liked Jerry as Dracula. Kamekona also had an interesting outfit. It was great to see Danny's from little different side as a father (I liked the scenes with Gracie and Charlie). I think that the first time we had cargument Danny with himself. |

Loved the Dangerous Liaisons reference (one of my favorite movies) - Keanu Reeves was just a young'un, early in his career. I know Eric provides humour, but he is a little grating for me. I miss Fong. Grace was beautiful as Tinkerbell(?). What a contrast for Danny to go from dealing with a teenage girl to trick-or-treating with a little boy.

Okay, I'm going to gloat just a little! When we first saw the pic of Masi's Halloween costume back in August, I posted a comment saying it looked like Keanu Reeves in Dangerous Liaisons. Score one for me!
I loved the scene with Danny and Charlie with Danny making him promise not to grow up. After a night of dealing with a daughter who's trying very hard to grow up (even if a bit inappropriately for 13 ... yeah, I know Teilor is 14 but the character isn't and that's still Junior High age) it was really poignant having Danny talk to Charlie about growing up.

1. Neither will I. Every time I watch this show it makes me want to go back. Every single time. 2. I love this show so much that I will force myself to watch the Halloween episode even though I am not that interested in Halloween. I've never been one to get into the blood and gore and screaming and horror movies that is associated with this day. That being said, this show knows how to do a Halloween episode like no one else. |

Nice episode. They are doing a great job tapping into the chemistry this season. Loved Kono taking out the big dude, although I first guessed that she would rescue the hostage with one of her classic sniper shots.
