Honestly, if they wanted to keep Steve and Danny out of Kemekona's storyline, I'd rather the guys were just busy testifying in court or something like that.

Abby's absence was mention, but only enough for Chin to say that she was back in SF for something. You're right, Dani, she's not a very memorable character. Nor a very necessary one, not sure what purpose she really serves on the show other than to give someone for Chin to flirt with.

I enjoyed the Kamekona backstory. He's a fascinating character.
