The last third was really good. The thing at the beginning with Mama Williams was not so good. Obviously the Feds are gunning for 5-0 and I am wondering where it is all going to lead.......

Great episode, especially the last 10 minutes. I was disappointed when it seemed that Gabriel died. Fortunately, it did not happen, because he is great as villain, and such things are not done in the middle of the season. If they catch him or kill it let it happen in the season finale. Sensational fight between Chin and Gabriel, applause for the actors and crew. As for Abby, I knew that this would happen for some time (after one news I only speculated, but after episode 6.14 I was sure), although I did not know that this storyline will be so strongly related with the storyline mother of Danny and Matt. They do not reveal name this person, for which works Abby, last name is familiar, but I will not spoilered here.

The fact that Gabriel survived is ridiculous but this is Hawaii Five-O after all, where you must suspend disbelief. Frankly my husband jokingly predicted he was going to disappear and we were disappointed when he did. I am tired of that storyline. And while I'm on my rant, I just have a hard time with Melanie Griffith as Danno's mom. The early scenes with the timeshare presentation were cringeworthy. I hope she got a lot of money from the plastic surgery settlement...she deserves every penny(if she indeed took him to court that is). Overall it was a good episode however-I'm looking forward to seeing where this Abby / Federal investigation goes...

I would be disappointed if he was killed, so I'm happy that he survive. Maybe someone took him out of this place, because in this state probably would not have to do it yourself.

Eeeeeew, now I see where Danno gets the cheap tendencies. So Mama will do anything to get free tickets. Hirsch is so deliciously slimy, you kind of want to keep him around, just to see what he'll say/do next. Unlike the slimy time-share seller. Was surprised that Steve left Neil all alone out in the street while he checked out the parking lot - wasn't Neil supposed to be in danger? Clara could teach any kid how to be petulant, obnoxious and peevishly childish. Not so sure she copied young Danno - I'd say he learned from her. Just not the mom I expected Danno to have. For a moment, I thought my kids had put on their "Call of Duty" game. Throwing Gabriel out the window seems a bit murderous... is he dead, or going to pull a Michael Myers from the original Halloween and limp off unseen? Always heart-warming to see Kono save one of the guys. Danno gets an A for figuring out the FBI's scheme. At least we know that Abby ha a purpose other than jumping into bed with Chin.

GUEST CAST: Ingo Rademacher (Robert Coughlin) I did not notice that in the press release, they gave his name, so it's no spoiler if I write about it here. For several weeks, I know that he called Coughlin. I think that it is brother of Coughlin (from episode 4.13 and 5.18). Though yet nowhere not revealed if it is brother of Coughlin (I think they reveal this in episode 6.17 or 6.18), but all on it indicates. Abby may not know that it is his vendetta, and simply only she executes commands, but when she finds out about this, she maybe betray him. Because it looks like from the last scene in the episode 6.14 that she has feelings for Chin.

Because it looks like from the last scene in the episode 6.14 that she has feelings for Chin. Five-0 Redux mentions Coughlin in relation to the original Rex Coughlin but doesn't specifically say they're brothers. But she does strongly suggest that he's after Five-0 because of what happened to the other Coughlin. I don't think Abby will be on-board with this when she realizes it's more of a personal vendetta than an official investigation. And I think you're correct, though, that they probably are brothers. About that last scene in 6.14, I think you're right about that too. If she didn't have feelings for Chin, she probably wouldn't have run away.

Oh, I meant to ask if anyone thought it odd that Gabriel's guy on the computer wrote Iolani Palace on that post-it note? Five-0 is housed in Ali'iolani Hale, where the Kamehameha statue is, not Iolani Palace which is a different building. They are in close proximity and it's probably the most common canon mistake in fanfic but I would have expected the writers to know the difference.

In this season when was a bomb in front of the headquarters of Five-0 in 6.02, also pointed to the Iolani Palace.

The Good: * Sniper Kono was awesome, as always.
* Story of the week, even though I picked up on the guilty banker guy right away.
* Was glad to see Max this week.
* Whoa! What a knock-down drag-out fight that was between Chin and Gabriel.
* Continuity is a good thing. Finally got the story of what Abby is up to... well, besides sleeping with Chin. I'm gonna guess that she's fallen for him - for real - while in the process of doing her job.
* Something tells me that business card what artist-thief-turned-crime-scene-cleanup-guy gave Kono is gonna turn around and bite him in the butt some day. Hopefully the continuity will continue so we can see that.
The Bad: * Didn't like cheap Clara.
* Didn't like whiny Danny, although I understand why he was whiny.
* Too bad someone didn't keep an eye on Gabriel until it was confirmed that he was dead. Only in the 'bad' category because it was too predictable. I miss Wo Fat as the nemesis.
The Ugly: * Timeshare sales pitches. Ugh!
* Five-0 HQ is not in the Iolani Palace. Continuity not good in this case! If they're not gonna get it right, Gabriel's goon should have just put 'Five-0 HQ' on the post-it.
And just an observation: Has anyone else noticed that the props department used the same blue pain on Danny's front door that is in Five-0's HQ? I noticed that during he and Steve's back-and-forth on the phone.
