Great episode! I knew it would be Valentine's Day episode, so somehow so much I did not wait for him, but it turned out quite differently. Episode was really great, I'm very happy. I can not remember the last time so much laughed at any episode of the show (all tv shows that I watch). Were great scenes and texts were in the episode. The case of the week also good, not unpredictable. One of the best episodes this season.

Loved this episode. Made me laugh after a hard week at work. Everyone's story was good. Poor Chin. There is more to Abby. I think she is undercover and reporting on H50. Love Mrs Grover. I am left with the feeling however that Lynn won't be seen much. Steve is on the rebound.

Poor Chin. There is more to Abby. I think she is undercover and reporting on H50. That's what I think, after this news, which I threw once about actor who will appear in 6.15 (and description his role) and photo Abby with him in episode 6.17.

Fun episode. The beginning really threw me off, but I liked those old clips... now I feel like watching Star Trek. And of course, Dino singing. You really didn't even need the crime of the week - 5-0 interacting and reminiscing is all you need. I loved the teasing and will admit that yes, Grover feels like part of the group. His feeble attempts at making up for forgetting V-Day really made me laugh. But how can anyone forget? The retailers pound it into you. Glad to know that Sabrina and Max are still together, unlike Jerry and the ME that he hit on (whom I still like for Danno). The look on Grover's face every time he heard what the chef had done for 5-0... and I loved the porch feast. We're seeing a whole lot of Chin lately (literally). No complaints here. The whole Gabby thing... meh. Laughed myself silly with the hotel lobby meet and the teeny towel. Danno ... loved his romantic setup and the "charades". Still not feeling the romance though. Steve, just be glad Lynn wasn't wearing stilettos. Kono looking at her wedding video.... waaaaaaaahhhhh!!!! The scene of him and Lynn on the Andirondacks.... took me back to the ending of the pilot.

.... Love Mrs Grover. ... She and Grover together are great.
Forgot about 2 great other moments that made me laugh - Danno, lingerie connoisseur extraordinaire - and Grover making like Elmer Fudd when Kono called him out on implying women are irrational.

This afternoon I looked back over past seasons to see when the Danny /Amber/Melissa thing started. It was season 4. And he can't say I love you? Not that it is the only thing in a relationship...but, after 2 years...you think something would have been said--or they would have moved on. And, after that fight about it, she still stayed over at his place? Are they living together?

Finally had the chance to watch this episode and really enjoyed it ... enjoyed it to the point that I'll probably watch it again this evening. I was glad that the bad valentine stories they were telling weren't flashbacks to previous years as they were thought to be. They were more relatable when we knew all the parties involved and knew they were talking about what happened just the night before. I'm not sure I'd have cared as much if they were talking about something that happened before we "knew" them or the other people involved.
The case of the week kept me guessing but then actually seemed like it should have been so predictable because I've seen movies and other tv shows using the same idea ... seemingly unrelated cases become related when you realize that people "traded favors" in killing someone else's spouse / partner / whatever. But it was well done and as a vehicle to allow them all to just sit and talk while they traded their stories, it worked really well.
It was a nice touch that Dennis Chun's partner, Laura Mellow, was invited to play Duke's wife, Nalani. Especially since it was the Valentine's Day episode.
Sad to see Kono all alone ... but putting on a brave face for the others. Cute story about Jerry meeting someone online who he only knows by their online name ... and was nice to see that at a table full of handsome men, she didn't seem to be disappointed that Jerry was the one she was there to meet. He does have a certain appeal ... and I'm not really trying to be superficial ... but if I just happened to walk by that table, I don't think Jerry would be the one I'd turned around for a second look at. But if I got to know them all, I think Jerry's quirky personality ... his conspiracy theories ... that would appeal to me.

A nice light-hearted episode, despite all the 'bad' Valentine's Days they all recounted to each other.
Kono - Felt bad for her, but it was good to see her smile at watching her and Adam's wedding video.
Danny - Despite what Kono dubbed as Team Melissa, why is the lady shacking up with a guy who is not committed enough to her to say those 3 words that obviously freak him out? As for Danny's part, he sure does make cute bunny ears.
Lou - Good for Mrs. Grover on calling out her husbands weak attempts. But lady, get a better dress and show a little less.
Steve - too funny. The team was obviously disappointed that there wasn't a better story to go with the black eye.
Chin - when a woman says, "I like you", that does not call for a hotel room and champagne in bed. It just doesn't.
Jerry - a nice meeting for him and the lady, despite getting the least popular chocolate in the box.
Max - nice that they shared that he and Sabrina are still together.
The crime-of-the-week fit well into the background in this episode.
