A Danno adventure is always fun - starting off with the absolutely futile "no need for phones" argument with Monkey (is he allowed to go off without his phone??? I kept expecting it to ring midway through his tirade), to the bus chase, to seeing Danno play Robin Hood - he's a regular Danno Williams Tell (look it up in the history books). Looks like archery camp paid off, even if his aim is terrible. Not loving Abby joining 5-0 - there goes Steve giving a badge to anyone again. So Cath leaves and she has to be replaced? Why? Does this mean Chin is going to lose a woman again? Seeing Kono dunk the captain brought back memories of the shark cage.... aaaah, the good old days! Overall an interesting episode, with the right blend of humour and "feel good" end to the bigger crime of the week. I liked the slave boat plot - something new. And on a totally aside note ... bladder leak control pad ads?? Is that H50's target audience? Yikes.

Abby in Five-0, this is does not make sense, because Abby will not appear in the next 4 episodes (6.19, 6.20, 6.21, and 6.22), and she will be only 6.23 and 6.24 (in 6.24 she will not be involved in the case with Five-0). And she will not appear in the finale. I thought that at the end of the 6.18 she will tell Chin that she do not want to be in the Five-0, but she did not say that, and now she will not appear in next 4 episodes (unless in 6.19 will be revealed that she will not be in the Five-0 task force, because she resigned or something like that).. So it is strange. Besides, actress she played one of the main role in pilot CBS, and probably CBS will be order this show for 1 season (so she will appear max in a few episodes in season 7, if of course survive in episode 6.24).

Good episode
So Abby comes clean and Steve offers her a fulltime job with Five 0 because Steve understands she was just following orders and no one blames her. I like this because Steve is think about Catherine and she was just following orders when she went on her mission hope we here more of Cath soon. I don't think Abby will be with Five 0 after episode 6.24
Love that Steve did a April fool on Grovor The slave ship story was very sad loved the action with Steve and Chin getting on board.
Love seeing Grace be a teenager about the phones rolling her eyes Danny was not think keeping the children and everyone one the bus when chasing after the bad guys and shooting at the bus that was stupid.

Such a packed episode with so many facets to the stories...very enjoyable...from the slavery/human trafficking info, ghost ship facts to the bow and arrow hunting it was thoroughly researched episode-kudos to the writer. Not sure if anyone picked up on this but the bus driver-Mamo-was played by Ben Harrington-an original H50 cast member. He played Ben Kokua in later seasons of the original and he also was in an earlier season episode of this reboot. My only complaint is a general one. As a fan who loves the bromance, it seems every episode that Danno is in, he is in a separate story line. The episodes without Danno only magnify the separation. I guess this is to accommodate his schedule but I miss the togetherness.... Edited to add that Danno's left arm must have permanent damage since its been hit by a bullet at least 3 times in the same spot, lol....

I guess this is to accommodate his schedule but I miss the togetherness.... Yes. It is connected with his schedule. Seperate storyline he has only in 6.06 (he has here 5-6 scenes with Steve, because separate storyline started in the middle of the episode), 6.15, and 6.18 (one scene with Steve). But in last 6 episodes of season 6 (6.20, 6.21, 6.22, 6.23, 6.24, 6.25) will be a lot of Danny, a lot of McDanno, and no separate storyline for Danny.

Good episode. I do like Steve and Chin teamed together. I am getting a bit bored with Grover but did enjoy Steve's April fool trick. He got me going for a second

Yes Scott is going to be in these episodes but the only episodes he will be in full time will be 24 and 25. I bet in the other episodes from 20 to 23 he won't be full time as he will still be going home for a week at a time to see his girlfriend and baby daughter. So the only one to blame for Scott missing episodes is Scott.

Still wondering if Abby will really be joining the team, or if she has been red shirted....with the exception of Kono, most if not all the women have been killed off, or leave. I guess we will find out eventually. I did like the action and the Daddy Danno scenes. The episode had vibes of season 1. I didn't like Danny having his story line so separate from the rest of the team. Wondering if Scott will be even more part time in season 7. I am happy we have a season 7, though!!

Yes. Also I'm thinking that he will be the same as in season 5 and season 6. In addition to these five episodes, which he does not appear, usually we have a lot of scenes with Danny. So I do not complain. The most important for me is it that Scott still is in the show.

Sorry to be commenting on this episode so late but I just noticed something about it that is really inconsistent with a much earlier episode and it really deserves a mention. At the end of this episode, when Steve and Danny arrive at Kamekona's, there's a discussion about chicken and Kamekona doesn't even want them to say the word ... but does seem to be a little curious about how it tastes (Grace tells him he's got nothing to worry about). In the episode where Danny is exposed to sarin, Kamekona brings him two buckets of chicken while he's in the hospital and when Danny asks for a piece of white meat, Kamekona indicates that he ate it all on the drive to the hospital. Grace tells him that fried chicken isn't good for you because it has cholesterol and Kamekona tells them that the grease is a lubricant and his mother used to give him fried chicken when he was sick. I just watched the sarin episode last night and that immediately struck me ... Kamekona talking about the wonders of chicken during the first season and not even knowing what it tastes like during the sixth season. Yeah, I know ... it was five years ago ... but wouldn't you think someone would remember???
