We know the schedule of CBS for next season. And will not be The Amazing Race before H50! We will have MacGyver before H50, the show in which Lenkov will have participated (as writer and executive producer). I'm curious ratings of MacGyver, because new tv shows on Fridays at CBS does not usually have a good audience in last years. But due to the popularity of the old tv show, the first episodes could have a good ratings. Training Day (in which one of the main role plays Julie Benz) will be in midseason (probably 13 episodes). I don't like the idea of a new show as lead-in but I could see where CBS might have asked PL to become involved in MacGyver and he said, "Fine ... but put it on Friday night just before H5-0 because you haven't given us a good lead-in since you moved us there and we're still winning our time slot." Obviously just conjecture on my part but it does seem extremely coincidental that with PL as one of the producers / writers, they FINALLY put another drama as lead-in on Friday night. I loved the original MacGyver and I probably would have checked out the new one just because I loved the original (kinda like I did with H5-0) but I hope this move doesn't backfire and take down the entire Friday night schedule with it. I'm not predicting it will ... but I AM hoping it won't. |

CBS gives full season order for MacGyver. Good information, because this means that The Amazing Race will not be emitted with the H50. And ratings this season shows that the H50 is more suitable to drama tv series than reallity tv series.

The Amazing Race returns to Friday schedule, and will be emitted before Hawaii Five-0 since April 28. So a few last episodes will be emitted with The Amazing Race. The time table for Hawaii five 0 episodes in January and February 2017 are these dates unless something happen like in real life and CBS changes the time table.

This is my new guess and I could be totally wrong with these dates but I felt it would be fun doing this to see if I get this right.
