Good episode. One question---when did Steve get a new truck? I now seem to recall he was using it in the last new ep. But, I don't think there was any mention of it.......

I don't think they ever showed the moment he got the new truck (not like Danny admiring his new Camaro and Steve grabbing the keys for the first drive) but it was blown up in 7.04 by the serial killer. I'm presuming, unless someone else remembers otherwise, that he just got it off-screen and then we see him driving it the next time he needed to use his truck instead of Danny's car. Personally, I don't think the light colored truck suits him. He seems more intimidating driving a dark vehicle.

They never did "say" anything about the new truck, Steve just showed up driving it in one episode, I don't remember which one. I agree, the light colour isn't as good as a dark truck.
Drove me nuts that the young Reese was supposed to by 8 (adult Reese is 18, crime happened 10 years ago) but the child actor was more like 5 or 6.
Enjoyed seeing Missy Peregrym as Bridget, I liked her in Rookie Blue. Wonder if that storyline will re-appear with Danny again, even if just a verbal reference?

I actually wondered about him being able to read the sign. I thought he looked a bit young to have been reading (although I know people sometimes teach kids to read even before they're school aged) because I thought the kid looked about 4.

Loved this episode. Liked Steve and Danny having a conversation than an argument. Loved the hand on back scenes. COTW was good. Thought it might have been the mother rather than the father . Nice to have an episode without guns and car chases. Would like more of this kind of episode.
