Honestly I suspected that staycation storyline will be a lot worse. Meantime it was great, a much better than case of the week, with great Steve-Danny scenes. One of the best scenes in episode was volleyball scene wchich was similiar as in Top Gun movie even this same song appeared. I like btw when in H50 we have scenes with sports like baseball in 4.02, american football in 3.17, 4.09. and 6.07, or golf in 5.16. I very like Melissa in this episode. In season 4 I don't like her. But it changed in episode 5.16, in which she was great, in 7.16 also she was great. I like her with Danny. This season relationship Steve-Danny is really a much better than a few last seasons. Again as friends and again we have great bromance. And episode 7.18 it maybe another great and even better episode with bromance Steve-Danny, because looks like it will be a Steve-Danny centric episode.
The COTW at most was only OK. Nothing new and nothing great. There were better COTW this season. But always cool when we have Chin and Kono as partners. And episode confirmed that the car on photo from the set episode 7.20 is a new Kono car.

Best part was the bromance. Loved the Steve and Danny scenes. I felt no chemistry between Steve and Lynn. I thought they were cool with each other. Not what I expect in a relationship after a year together. To me they are just friends. COTW I found it boring. There seemed to me, to be no spark in Kono Chin and Grover. Probably they were tired and it was the last episode filmed before Christmas break.

The episode was 'fair'. Neither good nor bad, as a whole anyway.
The COTW as okay, although predictable. Was obvious it would be Kono that saved his life and put his chauvinistic backside in place. Was kinda disappointed she didn't give him a better reply when he tried to ask her out one last time, but I suppose she just didn't feel the need. Chin; lookin' awesome, as usual.
The whole side-by-side staycation rooms was lame. The guys work together, nearly every day, plus spend time together outside work already, so what girlfriends in their right minds would plan that? Too bad Danno is still having a mid-life crisis with Bambi-Amber-Melissa-whomever. She is way too young and immature for him, which is just so lame. Steve and his 'lady-friend', as he referred to her, just don't seem to have much chemistry. Or perhaps it's just her always looking like she's trying to hard. The guys-on-one-side and girls-on-the-other at dinner may have assisted with camera angles, but otherwise looked silly for 'couples' to dine that way.
Hey, at least there was no Jerry in this episode!

Well- I finally watched the episode. It was OK. The whole Danny thing with the kid on the beach and the sunglasses was stupid...I mean really? The girls planning a couples weekend.....a little weird. Steve referring to Lynn as his lady-friend? There is no chemistry between the 2 of them....the show should really hang up on this relationship. When Steve and Danny walked out of the water...I noticed there were no scars. The two of them just had major surgery less than a year ago--there would have been some evidence of said surgery. And scar tissue doesn't tan real well--maybe they use that cover up makeup! The COTW was OK---kind of predictable--there were more interesting ways they could have taken it..... Danny and Melissa---too young for Danny--she doesn't look much older than Grace. And little to no chemistry there either. This show really needs to improve on how they portray women....but, that has been a problem from season 1. Back when the show had real magic.

I thought I saw scars on both Steve and Danny.
