“Ua malo'o ka wai” – McGarrett and Five-0 are captured and face certain death after tracking a dangerous nemesis to the Island of Lanai. Also, Grover takes his son to Chicago where he testifies against a dirty cop from his past, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, April 7 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Great episode. For the first time in history we had kidnapped as many as four members of Five-0 together. Michelle Shioma returned, and she was even more ruthless than before. And this time none of the Five-0 members have saved them and it was Jerry and Duke, something new. I think it was she who wanted to kill Five-0 with a bomb in episode 7.18. Jerry got a badge, I know some will criticize it. But I think his role will be the same as before, and the badge he got for his previous accomplishments. And it will still be Jerry guy with cospiracy theories, and will be helping Five-0 on the case of the week at HQ, but not always, when he will need it. And as we know the actor has not same contract like others, and appears about 7 episodes less. I doubt that he will get ever a gun and that he will appear at crime scenes, etc.
The second storyline of the episode shows awesome acting from Chi's. He played sensational, it shows what great actor he is. Grover lost friends in Chicago, but gained them in Hawaii. I like his relationship with Will.

Really good episode. I thought Chi McBride's acting was super....although kind of a sad story line for him....losing long time friends and colleagues in Chicago...but realizing that he had a whole new crop of friends and ohana in Hawaii.
I thought they had figured out who the mole was in HPD last year....maybe I'm thinking of another mole.
Jerry did save the day for 5-0.....I figured they would give him a badge by the end of the season....

Good episode
I wish we only had one story line instead of 2 story lines because I would have liked seeing more of Michelle Shioma the cold bitch and five o in more trouble with Grover there with them and it was great to see Duke come to the rescue. Steve being bad ass Nave Seal . Love them in the helicopter
Jerry I don't like it but lets hope they don't give him a gun or go out into the field and go hunting for killers but just says and works the computer. If Grace/Kono is leaving is Jerry going to take Kono place.
Chi McBride great acting by him but a sad story line that he lost his friends in Chicago there lost Grover has new friend and ohana in Hawaii

Haven't had chance until now to watch this episode.
I enjoyed it but not happy there were 2 stories. I thought Grover was a bit too overpowering and put the main story into the shade a little. But Chi's acting was excellent
Loved Steve bringing back his navy seal skills.
It was inevitable Jerry would get his badge. I'm thinking he is replacing Kono but don't give him a gun
I do think Grace is not coming back

If Grace will not be in season 8, I think female character will replace her, not Jerry. Abby or someone new.

If Grace will not be in season 8, I think female character will replace her, not Jerry. Abby or someone new. I think Jerry could replace her in the sense of someone back at the Palace doing the computer stuff but he could never replace her in an "action" sense. |
