Have to agree. The gag reel was uncharacteristically short. The DVD has a really nice video about Dennis Chun and his father, Kam Fong (the original Chin Ho). Dennis said he wanted to audition for Chin Ho in the reboot but had to agree that DDK was the right man for that role. There were some clips from the original with Kam Fong and a clip with Dennis. Also, Teilor Grubbs video diary was cute. The deleted and extended scenes were nice to watch but I didn't think they had any hidden bits that made you wonder. Like back when Rachel told Danny that Charlie was his son and they had a deleted scene with Melissa in her car spying on them ... that kinda made me wonder (erroneously) if Danny and Melissa were going to be breaking up but that didn't happen ... even though we haven't seen her for a while. So no hidden moments that make you think you know something they don't want you to know. |
