Just like to say that after watching Five 0 for 7 seasons I do miss Chin and Kono especial Daniel/Chin as he was my second fav character on the show.
Very good episode will be one of my fav this season
Loved Steve and all his scene with Eddie such a good pairing glad they are keeping Eddie so we can watch their relationship develop in season 8. Love Eddie the dog is an excellent actor and action star Really sad when Eddie got wounded loved how Steve found him. Funeral scene with Eddie very sad. The end was very sad as well with Eddie lying on the grave with Steve.
Loved Steve and Grover pairing up Grover was funny not liking Eddie at the beginning but loving him at the end Duke nice seeing more of him in episodes
Junior I like him and the chemistry between Steve would like more scene with them together and good story lines. It's crazy Steve is making Junior join the Academy to learn to be a cop. What about Jerry when dose he graduate. Tani Rey at the moment I don't like her she may grow on me but she may not.

Another great episode. Freshness introduced in this season simply changes the series for the better. Of course, sad that Daniel and Grace have gone, but honestly, after their leaving, maybe the show will come out for good. Fresh blood, this show needed it. We meet Tani last week. Now we meet two new faces. Eddie, the star of the episode for me, and Junior, who in the future should join to Five-0.
All scenes of Eddie were amazing, especially with Steve. I really like how Steve took care of him in the episode. And Eddie was a badass. From the spoilers we know Steve will adopt him so I can not wait for the next scenes with him. As for Junior, there were only 3 scenes with him, so in the next episodes I will be able to say something more about him. For the time being I like him, I like his relationship with Steve, and that he will not immediately join Five-0. HPD training, something new, and something fresh, I'm curious this.
Great cargument of Steve and Danny. For now, we have amazing scenes between Steve and Danny. Cargument are not offensive and annoying. Something we've already seen at most of scenes in the previous season (maybe besides episode 7.18 and 7.25), and this season is even introduced to a better level. Good job writers. Nice that they mentioned again Kono. I like they show that Steve and Danny miss them. Well that the writers do not forget about their existence.
Case of the week. Twist with DEA agent I predicted at the moment when they showed the bad guy death off the screen. Always when Hawaii Five-0 show the killing of a bad guy off the screen, then it turns out that the person who killed him is either a villain or a corrupted. This was e.g. in the episode 1.07 with Kaleo and 6.08 with Hank.
Tani was less than the premiere, but she still is great. Especially the scene when she was baddas, at first in the chase with Camaro and then when she shoot a corrupt DEA agent. I like her chemistry with Danny. And in general I have the impression she is in the show for years, and it shows how great Meaghan is and it was a great casting choice.

I enjoyed the episode but the plot was a bit predicable in regard to who the bad guys were. You don't bring in someone like Casper Van Dien to just give you someone's address and tell you how expensive a bottle of wine can be. So that was a big red flag that we'd see him again.
Love the Danny / Tani pairing and OMG! she is a badass! I loved her leaning out the window of the Camaro and Danny saying "easy ... easy ... easy." I really like Tani.
Love the Steve / Eddie pairing. Just thought it was interesting that he has the same name as Danny's father. That dog has been trained amazingly well. When I first heard that a dog was going to be featured, I was skeptical. But Eddie should get an opening credit he was that good!
Not sure about Junior yet. I did find it interesting that McG told him he had to go through the police academy. Since Danny and Lou would have presumably gone through police academy training and Tani did as well (even though she was kicked out), I almost thought it seemed like McG was acknowledging that it might have been helpful for him to do that. That maybe he's considered that going straight from the SEALS to the task force wasn't the best route so he wants to make sure Junior does it right. Waiting to see him in action because I'm just not sure about him yet.
Was glad to see that they're still talking about Kono and Chin.

I was critical of E1, but really enjoyed this one. I'm still not seeing much in Tani, but will be fair and give the writers time to develop her. I hope they do.
Steve was awesome with the dog. I'm enjoying Grover these days.
H50 plots are seldom stellar. I watch mostly for the characters and their interaction.
It is a bit odd not having anyone who even looks Hawaiian on the task force.

Enjoyed this episode. Eddie stole the show. He's not just a dog he's a good actor. Bring on more Eddie and Steve. COTW was good.
