I enjoyed it...although it is sort of a filler ep. I did enjoy the background music during the shootout at the piano teacher's house. I can see why they swapped out eps 2 and 3.

Another great episode. Harry is back, and he back in big way. He is so great, and I just love his chemistry with Steve and Danny. The scenes with this trio was amazing and very funny. I hope he will back this season. McDanno bromance is amazing this season, last season it was improved, but this season it is even better. Shirt of McDanno by Kamekona was winner of this episode. Tani was great again, she perfectly fit to the team. Case of the week was very good, better than in episode 8.02, because not predictable. A good twist with a piano teacher. Again a lot of action which I'm happy about. After episode I understand why they switch the order of episodes.

After episode I understand why they switch the order of episodes. My first thought when I saw all the guns was exactly the same thing. Even though Wendie, who writes the Five-0 Redux column for the Star Advertiser, said she thought they switched the episodes because they wanted to introduce Junior Reigns sooner, I couldn't help thinking (before we saw the episode) that it must have something to do with a lot of weapons and killings and the episode seems to show that to be true. The only awkwardness about switching them was Lou calling Tani "the new girl" when they were at the first crime scene. And then Harry commented on how new she was because of her shiny badge and impractical shoes. I don't remember what kind of shoes she was wearing in last weeks episode so I guess I'll have to go back and watch it to see if the comment from this week affected what she wore last week. I thought the COTW was interesting. I wasn't surprised that the piano teacher turned out to be the killer but only because they made the obvious point that he was a piano teacher by showing him teaching someone before the cops got there. Also wasn't surprised that he was gone by the time the shooting was over. They should have locked him in the bathroom with the little girl to keep him from running. But if they had, we wouldn't have had the whole final bloodbath (a bit excessive, actually). I WAS surprised that he pulled the trigger on Derek Okada. I was actually expecting him to surrender to them without pulling the trigger. SURPRISE! I have to admit that I missed Eddie. LOL! Not sure if Steve even owns him yet ... or if he will ... and I don't know what they could have done with him but I really fell in love with him last week. I'm not a dog person but I guess, like Lou, I'm a this-dog person. I'm still not missing Grace and DDK. Maybe "James Bond" made up for that this week or maybe I'm just not missing them. I do love the new show that DDK is one of the producers of, "The Good Doctor", but I watched it because I'm a fan of Freddie Highmore and didn't even realize it was the show DDK contributed to. I expected his show was going to be something with more ethnicity to it because I'd heard that it was based on a Korean show and he's been very vocal about that. It says it's based on a Korean show; perhaps we'll see more diversity once the show is established. If you haven't seen The Good Doctor, I highly recommend it.

It was a ok episode
The episode and Story was not as good as in season 7 that Harry was in Missed seeing Steve with Eddie my fav couple now I love Steve and Harry together good chemistry I see Peter is still big on the queer baiting I hate the shirt and the name Bar & Grill sounds like some where lorry drivers stop to eat With this stupid story line about the restraint the only person I see doing all the work is Steve and doing some renovation as well what is Danny doing nothing and being useless as usual

1) I see Peter is still big on the queer baiting 2) I hate the shirt and the name Bar & Grill sounds like some where lorry drivers stop to eat 3) With this stupid story line about the restraint the only person I see doing all the work is Steve and doing some renovation as well what is Danny doing nothing and being useless as usual 1) Not sure what you mean about queer baiting. Can you give me an example of what you mean because I didn't see anything that I thought would qualify. Unless you're using the term in something other than a derogatory way. 2) Steve and Danny hated the shirt as well and also didn't like the Bar & Grill. But CBS is now selling the t-shirt. 3) Everyone complains because they think Danny was complaining and arguing too much (even when Steve started a good percentage of the arguments) ... and now you don't like Danny's restraint. What do you want from him? I know you don't like him but, still, they're trying to change his character because so many didn't like it. You can't have it both ways. And, wow! Steve was sanding a bar top while Danny was out looking at décor for the restaurant and that means Steve was doing all the work and Danny was useless as usual? I get it. You don't like the show anymore. I'm not sure I even understand why you continue to watch it as much as you seem to dislike it. How would you change it to so you'd want to watch it again? And I know Catherine returning would be on your list but that can't be the only thing that would make you enjoy watching it. So what else would you want to see them change?

The easy way Is getting rid of Danny
I still do like watching the show as Alex is my fav and the only place to see him is on five 0 and all the photo's of him behind the scene.
1. The bit I don't like is Danny not a fan. When Steve is with Danny because the writers make them behave like 12 years olds all ways arguing making them look like idiots getting fed up with this. The writers could make them behave like adults like Steve and Chin or Steve and Grover friendship. The first 3 seasons I liked both of them and their friendship but when in season 4 Danny became not so nice went off him. Plus some rude attitude of some McDanno shippers on the internet not here has put me off their friendship.
1. The T-shirt for one is queer baiting and all those other episodes through the seasons written especially for the McDanno's fans hinting that they are gay when they are not. Wish the writer would stop this and teasing the McDanno fans
3. I would be happier if the writers gave Steve stronger, exciting, flash backs to his Navy Seal days story arc.
4. Catherine I don't believe will be back at all.

The easy way Is getting rid of Danny 1. The T-shirt for one is queer baiting and all those other episodes through the seasons written especially for the McDanno's fans hinting that they are gay when they are not. Wish the writer would stop this and teasing the McDanno fans I guess the word "baiting" is something we use differently. But you do know that some of the actions that have been used that you're talking about were originally out-takes ... Alex and Scott fooling around and they decided to leave it in. No one wrote that they would dance at Kono and Adam's wedding. The episode in which Steve breaks his arm and is air-lifted out ... that scene with Danny drawing the air-heart was an out-take. And I believe that the Halloween episode when Steve, Danny, Grace and Catherine were sitting on the couch and Steve puts his arm around Danny so Danny rests his head on Steve's shoulder was originally an out-take that they decided to put in. I've never had the impression that the writers were suggesting that Steve and Danny are gay. Honestly, I wouldn't care if they were but I don't think they've ever been written that way. The t-shirt, using the McDanno name, is the first time I've thought the writers were teasing the fans who ship them. But I think it was done in a nice way, telling the fans they appreciate them, however they ship them ... bromance or romance. But I can see that you're never going to like anything to do with Steve / Danny as long as your first change suggestion is getting rid of Danny. I'm actually a Danny fan and will admit that I didn't like all the arguing. One of the things I especially didn't like about it was that even when Steve started the argument, Danny was always blamed for it. Even when they were in the hospital, side-by-side, after the liver transplant, Steve deliberately provoked Danny and said some things that I'd consider unforgiveable ... and still people blame Danny for that whole scene. I don't think I'd go so far as to say I wouldn't watch it anymore if Danny weren't on ... but I do love their partnership (although not every minute of it) and if I saw that it had degenerated to the 12-year-old level that you see, I would stop watching it.

These scene you describe most are from the first 4 season and were fun to watch.
