It's official! Hawaii Five-0 renewed for season 10 by CBS! According TV Line, Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan, are expected to return as Steve McGarrett and Danny “Danno” Williams, respectively.

According The Hollywood Reporter, Alex and Scott have signed new contracts:

"Like Blue Bloods, veteran Five-0 draws a strong audience on Fridays, averaging better than 10 million viewers. The Peter Lenkov-run reboot returns for its 10th season after inking stars Alex O'Loughlin and Scott Caan to new deals. The series also performs well internationally and has a streaming deal in place with Netflix."

So I think it definitely seems more like the "fate of a major character" has to mean Jerry or Lou since they're not keeping Steve's and Danny's future a secret.

It depends on whether fate means the actor's departure or only that the character will be on the brink of death but survive. If it is the first I have a feeling it will be Jorge. If the latter can be any member of Five-0.

But if they ended with Steve or Danny on the brink of death, would you really be all that worried? If we know they're coming back, we also know they wouldn't kill them off so there wouldn't be much suspense nor would it be much of a "fate" if we already know the character will survive. As much as I love Danny and Steve, I really won't care if there's some sort of cliffhanger that has one of them on the brink of death because I know that they wouldn't announce that both have renegotiated their contracts and then kill one of them off in the first episode of S10.

I would just like to say

Congratulations to Peter, Cast and Crew for five 0 being renewed for a 10th season. I still think Jerry is the one in trouble with Adam second.

I won't be watching or updating this site for season 10 and on wards someone else can carry on doing it. I have found the second half of season 9 boring either falling a sleep half way through the episode or turning over to another channel. Seeing Alex having less time and less involved in the episodes and sometimes not even involved in the crime of the week. I know why this is happening because Alex needs a break. I don't like the new team I very much miss the old team with Chin and Kono. I should have stopped watching at the end of season 7. I have not bothered to watch the last 2 episodes really not interested in the final.

With Alex and Scott getting new contracts we will see even less of Alex and Scott missing more episodes.
